Ciao bella!
This week I'm bringing you a burst of pink from the beautiful city of Rome! It's Wednesday, and you know what that means... it's #PinkTutuRome time! As usual, I'm embracing all things fabulous, and what could be more fabulous than Italy's capital city?
I arrived here yesterday afternoon after a beautiful journey by train - I always love the sense of anticipation and excitement as the train carries you towards a new destination. The Italian countryside flew by my window, dappled sunlight painting the fields with shades of green and gold.
I'm staying in a delightful little boutique hotel just off the Via del Corso - a bustling street that's like a fairytale in itself. Everything here feels magical - the scent of freshly brewed coffee wafting from every corner, the sound of laughter bubbling out from cafes filled with families enjoying their aperitivo.
I couldn't resist donning my newest tutu - a stunning pink creation with a delicate tulle overlay - and it instantly set me on the right path to exploring Rome!
Wednesday's Splendour:
This Wednesday, I'm embarking on a true "Pink Tutu" adventure. It wouldn't be a trip to Rome without a visit to the Trevi Fountain. Of course, I'll be tossing in my lucky coin (backwards, for a return trip!) and taking in the grandiosity of this iconic structure.
Afterwards, I'm venturing into the world of haute couture with a trip to Via Condotti, home to the world's most luxurious designer boutiques. It wouldn't be a "Pink Tutu" escapade without indulging in a little fashion therapy. Maybe I'll find the perfect pink dress or some shimmering heels to compliment my next tutu! After all, a girl needs options!
As the evening descends, I'm embracing the city's vibrant nightlife. The Colosseum, lit up like a majestic gem under the night sky, beckons, and I wouldn't dream of missing its magical evening glow. And who knows, I might even stumble upon a street performer to inspire me with their art!
Rome in a Tutu:
There's something so enchanting about experiencing this ancient city in a vibrant, pink tutu. It brings a touch of whimsy and joy to every moment, from sipping a cappuccino in a piazza to taking in the awe-inspiring architecture of the Pantheon. It allows me to connect with the heart of Rome on a deeper level - a level that embraces joy, passion, and the love for the extraordinary.
