Pink Tutu Rome: Ciao Bella! #1538

Well, hello lovelies! It's Wednesday again, which means it's time for another fabulous Pink Tutu adventure, this time from the Eternal City itself: Rome!

This week, I've swapped Derbyshire drizzle for Roman sunshine, and the only thing pinker than the sunsets here is my latest tutu! I know, I know, you guys know my love of a good tutu, but trust me, this one's special. It's a fluffy, pale pink cloud of tulle, perfect for twirling beneath the Colosseum, and even better when paired with a little black dress and sparkly gold flats. It's a classic, elegant silhouette with a touch of whimsy. And isn't that what Rome is all about, classic with a dash of the unexpected?

I must confess, I adore travelling by train. It feels so much more glamorous than a flight, with its little tables, onboard restaurants, and endless opportunity for people-watching. Plus, there's just something magical about rolling through countryside, catching glimpses of a new city through the windows. It was even more exciting this time, as I was whisked through the Tuscan countryside on my way to Rome. And I'm not ashamed to admit, I spent most of the journey planning outfits for my Roman escapades.

Speaking of escapades, today was an absolute whirlwind. After checking into my charming little boutique hotel ā€“ pink walls, of course! ā€“ I headed straight for the Pantheon. Imagine a giant marble cookie tin, but with an enormous open ceiling allowing a glimpse of the bright Roman sky. Talk about an epic selfie opportunity, you guys! This place is seriously old. We're talking Ancient Rome, centuries before even the Tudors were about. And I just imagined all the things this place has witnessed, the emperors, the gladiators, the incredible artists.

Later, I indulged in some quintessential Roman shopping, finding myself a pair of stylish gladiator sandals in a dusty little antique shop, and some beautiful floral-patterned fabrics for my next ballet dress. I'm always looking for inspiration when I travel, and the cobblestone streets of Rome just buzzed with energy. Everywhere I looked, there was history, art, culture, and just pure life.

Tonight, I'm headed to the Teatro dellā€™Opera di Roma to catch the ballet performance. Theyā€™re staging ā€œGiselleā€ with a cast of incredible dancers, and I can't wait to see the energy, passion, and grace unfold on stage. Ballet performances are truly my passion. It's more than just dance, it's an escape, an expression of human emotion. Itā€™s the storytelling, the beauty, the energy, and above all, it's the feeling of flight! I get to combine my two favourite things - travel and ballet. There's nothing quite like twirling through a new city with a pink tutu, watching a ballet show with new eyes.

So, if youā€™re ever in Rome, take my advice: do not skip a performance at the Opera house! And donā€™t be afraid to add a dash of pink tutu magic to your own travel style. It may just become your lucky charm. Because hereā€™s the thing, guys - every place you visit deserves a touch of pink tutu. After all, why just travel when you can twirl through life with a smile?

Now, excuse me while I get dressed for the ballet. I need to find a stunning pair of earrings to complete my look. Until next week, stay sparkly, stay bright, and always remember, youā€™re never fully dressed without a little pink tutu.

Ciao for now! xx Emma
