Romford Calling! 🩰 #TutuBlog 40

Hello lovelies! Emma here, your pink tutu-loving ballet enthusiast, back with another update from my travels. Today, we're venturing outside the usual whirl of London and heading to the charming Romford!

It was a gloriously sunny day when I decided to swap my usual train journey for a little horseback adventure! I’d always loved the idea of riding to places, so I treated myself to a morning ride through the scenic countryside - let’s just say the wind in my hair, the sun on my face, and the gentle clip-clop of hooves was enough to set my soul alight!

Of course, I couldn't leave the house without a fabulous tutu! This time, I went for something a little bolder - a vibrant magenta tutu, just perfect for a day of adventure. I even topped it off with a pair of delicate pink riding boots! I know, it was utterly fabulous, and I had to snap a few selfies for the 'gram, of course! You can see the pics on my Instagram - @pinktutuemma.

The main reason for my visit to Romford, however, was a delightful surprise. I found out about a unique ballet performance happening in a beautiful little local theatre. Imagine my delight when I discovered the theme was ‘Italian Nights’! Now, I’m always partial to a touch of Italian flair, and their choice of music was simply divine - I could practically feel the warm sun of Tuscany on my skin as the dancers swirled across the stage in their beautiful costumes.

Speaking of costumes, I must tell you about the most exquisite tutu I saw that evening! It was made from shimmering black velvet and was completely covered in delicate, hand-sewn silver stars. Honestly, I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me - it was simply breathtaking! The ballerina who wore it was a vision – tall, graceful, and with a talent that made my jaw drop. I wanted to go backstage and tell her just how amazing she was.

Of course, no trip is complete without a visit to the local shops! In Romford, I stumbled upon a charming little vintage store crammed with hidden treasures. I emerged triumphantly with the perfect little accessory for my tutu wardrobe - a beautiful velvet ribbon in the most exquisite shade of jade green. And guess what? I just couldn’t resist snapping up a beautiful silver-trimmed black beret too. Sometimes, you just have to spoil yourself!

After a delightful evening enjoying local cuisine, and let’s be honest, I may have indulged in a little too much gelato, it was time to say goodbye to Romford and head back home to Derbyshire. But don't worry, my lovelies, the adventures will continue!

As always, I’m still determined to spread my love for all things ballet. Let’s all try to inspire those around us with the joy of movement and a sprinkle of pink! So, remember - don’t be afraid to step outside your comfort zone, explore the world, and wear your tutus with pride.

I’m off to a new ballet class this evening - you can bet I’m sporting a different shade of pink today! 😉 Stay tuned for more adventures on www.pink-tutu.com tomorrow! Until next time, lovelies, dance your heart out! 🩰❤️
