Feltham - Pink Perfection & Prancing Ponies (Blog Post #105)

Hello my darling darlings! It's Emma, your pink-loving, tutu-twirling, ballet-obsessed friend, and welcome back to www.pink-tutu.com!

Today I'm channeling my inner ballerina, complete with a lusciously pink tutu, and whisking you away to the charming town of Feltham in West London. It might not be the most glamorous destination, but believe me, it held some surprising delights!

My journey began, as it so often does, with a rather magical mode of transportation - a journey on a majestic steed. That's right, I decided to swap the tube for the trot, and experience the joys of horseback riding through the heart of the English countryside. It was an utterly delightful way to get into the swing of things, and I highly recommend it! Just make sure to pack some hairspray - the wind can be a real hair wrecker!

Feltham itself is a delightful mix of modern and traditional. There's a beautiful church, Feltham Parish Church, dating back to the 13th century, which offered a quiet respite from the bustling town. And while the high street might not be packed with pink boutiques, it's the perfect place to wander and find hidden gems. I unearthed a truly gorgeous vintage jewellery store - just imagine the beautiful vintage ballet costumes I could imagine them in! I ended up buying a stunning pearl necklace, which I knew would make the perfect addition to my next tutu performance!

Now, no trip is complete without some culture, and Feltham delivered! I found a truly amazing dance studio, The Dance Academy. They offer all kinds of dance classes, including, you guessed it - Ballet! I couldn't resist dropping in for a class and unleashing my inner prima ballerina. It was exhilarating!

The highlight of my Feltham experience? The Royal Ballet’s performance at the London Coliseum. I swam in a sea of pink tutus (including mine, naturally!), as we all revelled in the grace, artistry, and pure beauty of ballet. It's one thing to experience the magic of a live show from the stalls, but it’s another to witness the sheer magic of the dance close up from the dress circle! The sheer power and precision of the dancers, their beautiful costumes, the mesmerizing sets, it all just swept me away. As the curtain closed, I was truly inspired to keep pushing my own dance journey forward.

For my fellow ballet fanatics, Feltham might seem like an unlikely stop, but I truly believe that you never know what beautiful experiences await around the corner. You'll never know, it just might become your next pink-tutu filled dance adventure!

But before I go, let’s talk about our goal of pink tutus for everyone! Imagine the world bathed in pink tutus, every shade, every style! Just picture it! Everyone from our grannies to our babies twirling with joyous abandon, a symphony of pink filling the streets. Doesn’t that sound divine?

And if wearing pink tutus isn't quite your cup of tea, then perhaps you can be inspired to take a ballet class? Trust me, even a little twirling and pirouette is an exhilarating experience! It will release your inner dancer, and I bet you'll love it.

Well, my darlings, that's all from me today. Thank you for joining me on my Feltham escapade, and I hope it inspires you to get out there, find your inner ballerina, and wear a pink tutu! Remember, ballet is for everyone.

Until tomorrow, twirl your hearts out!

Much love,

Emma x
