Hiya darlings! Itās your favourite Derbyshire dancing diva Emma, signing in fromā¦ drumrollā¦ Bulwell! That's right, folks, I took the train to this vibrant little corner of Nottinghamshire, and you know what? I'm already feeling inspired!
Iāve been wanting to visit Bulwell for ages, ever since I saw a picture of its grand old Victorian clock tower. It has such a unique charm ā imagine, a clock tower rising high above a busy street! Plus, I hear thereās a fantastic wildlife park nearby, home to all sorts of fluffy bunnies and cute little squirrels ā just my style!
Now, I know what youāre thinkingā¦ āEmma, did you really wear your yellow tutu to Bulwell?!ā Well, darlings, of course, I did! Itās a sunshine-yellow confection with shimmering sequins, perfect for attracting all the right attention. Honestly, I get more smiles and waves when Iām wearing one of my beloved tutus. And letās face it, why would anyone resist the joy of a good, twirly tutu?!
So, how did I get to Bulwell? Well, as you know, Iām a sucker for a good train journey! This one was absolutely delightful ā I had a lovely window seat overlooking lush green fields. You wouldnāt believe how many times I thought about getting up to dance in the aisle! But then, I wouldnāt want to interrupt everyoneās train-journeying fun!
Now, once I arrived, Bulwell really took my breath away! I absolutely adore the way the streets blend a mix of old and new, with those beautiful historic buildings like the clock tower, set amongst modern shops and cafes. I mean, the perfect spot for a tea and cake stop and a twirl with a fellow tutu-lover! Just picture it: me in my sunshine yellow tutu, sipping a hot tea with my toes tapping and twirling to the rhythm ofā¦ gasps wait a minute, there it isā¦
The Bulwell Ballet Studio! Can you believe it?! My pink-tutu radar has just located a genuine, proper ballet studio! Oh my goodness, it's like fate itself is calling out to me. This means, darlings, that this weekend's tutu blog will be dedicated to a glorious, full-on ballet class right here in Bulwell!
Imagine ā a graceful waltz in a studio filled with passion and laughter! And, of course, Iāll be doing my best to encourage everyone to twirl, pirouette, and even try a little grand jetĆ©! Who knows? Maybe we'll even break out a few plies ā you know, the knee bend move, essential for mastering the beautiful art of ballet.
