Pinner, Here I Come! 🩰💖 (Post #1465)

Hello lovelies! Emma here, your friendly neighbourhood ballerina (and self-proclaimed pink tutu enthusiast!) writing to you from…wait for it… Pinner! Yep, you heard right, the sun is shining, the birds are singing, and I’m ready to twirl through the streets of this charming little town.

Before I even get to the delights of Pinner, I just have to tell you about my journey here! My heart always skips a beat when I’m boarding a train, there’s something so magical about the anticipation of a new adventure and the whizzing by of the countryside. But this time, things were even more exciting – I arrived in Pinner after a thrilling carriage ride! 🐎 Yep, you read that right, a carriage! It was all thanks to my friend Olivia, a lovely lady who runs a horse-drawn carriage service, and you just can’t beat the feeling of the wind in your hair and the gentle clip-clop of the hooves on the cobbled streets. It felt like something out of a Jane Austen novel, except I was wearing a bright pink tutu! 😜

Okay, now let's talk about Pinner! It's just the loveliest little place, with its quaint shops, charming houses and pretty little parks. There’s even a lovely little cafe tucked away, serving up delicious cakes and clotted cream teas. Talk about my kind of heaven! 😉

The real reason for my trip, however, is for the Pinner Dance Festival. Yes, you heard that right! Pinner, a small town, with a huge passion for the arts and a huge dance festival, full of workshops, performances and talks. Honestly, my love for ballet has taken me to all corners of the UK (and let's not forget my wild adventures abroad, but more on those later!) and this festival just tops it all. The first session, a masterclass in ballet barre work by renowned choreographer Sarah Thompson, was simply magical. It’s amazing how ballet brings people from all walks of life together – young and old, men and women – we were all there with one passion in common – the joy of dancing!

And speaking of joy, I managed to snag tickets for the ‘Under the Tuscan Sky’ evening gala! Imagine, beautiful dancers performing under the twinkling stars – this isn't a fairytale, this is REAL life! You guys, I swear, every time I see ballet performed it just fills me with such a sense of joy and inspiration. It’s like my heart dances with the dancers. I know, it's probably cheesy, but there's just something so utterly magical about the beauty, the grace and the passion. ✨

Before I lose myself completely in the enchanting world of Pinner and the festival, I want to share a little snippet from my adventures. Yesterday I was at the local wildlife park – just an hour train ride from the heart of Pinner. You guys, it was the most amazing place! Imagine strolling through lush green meadows, watching graceful deer and playful otters. We even had a chance to interact with some of the resident animals, and I’m going to share the cutest photos ever on my Instagram page – stay tuned! 🦌🐾

Oh, and just so you know, it was in the middle of that charming wildlife park, that I was inspired for this week’s Pink Tutu challenge! Yes, you’ve heard it right, I want all my lovely readers to don their favourite pink tutu (or buy a new one – no judgment here!) and post pictures on their social media using the hashtag #PinkTutuPinner! 💖

I want to encourage everyone, EVERYONE, to try ballet, to find the joy in movement, to embrace their inner dancer, to take a class or watch a performance and just revel in the beauty of this art form! It truly is magical! 🩰

Oh, before I forget, I have something fun and exciting for you! Right here on my website www.pink-tutu.com you'll find a new, ‘Pink Tutu Travel Guide' section where you can explore my favorite dance destinations, all the cute cafes and charming places I stumble across, and even some exclusive discount codes for pink tutus! 🎉

Right, gotta go. Pinner's calling! More stories to come – stay tuned! Love you lots, Emma xxx

PS – Keep spreading the pink tutu love, my dears! 😉💖
