Bournville Bound in Bubblegum Pink! 💖

Hey lovelies! 👋

Today was all about embracing my inner ballerina princess, because guess what? I took a trip to the beautiful, chocolatey town of Bournville! 🍫

This morning, I packed my pinkest tutu (of course, it wouldn't be a real adventure without it!), and hopped on a train to Birmingham. The sun was shining, the wind was whispering through my hair, and the rhythm of the train wheels was the perfect soundtrack for a day filled with ballet dreams.

Now, before I tell you all about the fab time I had, I have to confess, Bournville's got to be one of the cutest places I've been to. Everything about it just screams charming – think cobbled streets, half-timbered houses with flowers tumbling from the windows, and the most delicious scent of chocolate lingering in the air! 🍫

And who better to visit the Cadbury World with than your girl Emma? 😉 I went on all the rides, snapped some cheeky pics with the famous Cadbury Gorilla, and learned the secrets behind everyone’s favourite chocolate treats (shhhh… it’s all in the ingredients!). 🤫

The best bit? There’s a section dedicated to ballet, with costumes and sets from iconic ballet performances. Seeing that inspired me to twirl and leap through the factory floor (well, almost)!

I've always loved ballet, but today I realised how much of a part it plays in everyday life. Just like the precision in every step of a ballerina's dance, there's a similar intricate process that goes into crafting the perfect chocolate.

Talking about chocolate, I'm already craving a Cadbury Creme Egg now, just writing about this delicious day out. 🥚

Later on, I decided to take a stroll through Bournville Park. It’s a hidden gem, with peaceful walking paths, a pretty little lake with ducks quacking away, and even a children’s play area – what more could you want? 😊

Feeling relaxed and utterly content, I ended my day at the Bournville Village Museum, soaking up the history of this enchanting town. There were fascinating displays, old photos, and stories about the workers and the town itself. It was like stepping back in time! 🕰️

All this talk about Bournville has left me feeling peckish for a good old fashioned Cadbury’s Dairy Milk. And wouldn’t you know it? On my journey back home to Derbyshire, the most wonderful thing happened! I saw a little horse grazing by the railway tracks, munching on a juicy patch of grass. It seemed perfectly content in its green world, watching the passing train go by. 🐎

What can I say, a day full of wonder, chocolate and a touch of ballet magic makes for a pretty spectacular journey, wouldn’t you agree? ✨

Oh, and to all my fabulous readers who haven’t had a chance to don a tutu, I encourage you to grab one and go! You’ll be surprised at the joy you can find in spinning and swirling around, even if you haven’t taken ballet classes. Trust me, it's like unleashing your inner fairy godmother. 💫

Let me know in the comments below what your favourite Bournville chocolate is – mine's definitely Cadbury's Crunchie! 🤤

Until next time, keep dancing and stay pink! 💕

Love, Emma 💖
