Sale, American-Style Tutu Dreams ๐Ÿฉฐ๐Ÿ’•

#TutuBlog Post #2101

Hey lovely lot! Emma here, writing to you from my usual Derbyshire haunt, but feeling the warm California sunshine right now. Why? Because you see, I'm off to a sale! And not just any sale, oh no! A sale of American-style tutus!

Yes, you heard right! My favourite American-style tutus are the subject of a massive sale right now and my ballet-loving heart just had to get on board. My gorgeous lilac number was a total bargain and it's definitely going to be making an appearance in my next ballet street performance - which, by the way, is going to be something very special, more on that later!

Speaking of "very special," did you know that in just two weeks' time, I'll be performing in the grand opening show of the new Ballet Theatre in Edinburgh? ๐Ÿ˜ฑ It's such an exciting moment for me - a real dream come true! Imagine: a magnificent new space dedicated to ballet, and yours truly is one of the opening acts. Honestly, you guys, it feels like something out of a fairy tale.

But back to these American-style tutus, aren't they just glorious? I love their dramatic volume, their swishy-swishy nature, and, well, let's be honest - they're just so wonderfully pink! ๐Ÿ˜

It's almost embarrassing how much I love pink, isn't it? But I don't care, I'm proudly embracing my pink-tutu-loving self. And, if I can get anyone else on board with the pink-tutu love, all the better! It's a wonderful colour, full of life and joy.

This whole pink-tutu craze began back in my childhood, growing up in Derbyshire with its rolling green hills. I remember watching those wild horses on the commons with their magnificent, flowing manes - there was something about the pink sunset light that really made them seem almost magical.

From that point on, horses became my biggest passion (don't worry, ballet has never taken a back seat! ), but the feeling that these horses carried with them, a feeling of freedom and strength, stayed with me. It felt somehow connected to the airy lightness of a ballerina, that same sense of freedom.

It was no surprise then that I gravitated towards the pink, fluffy tulle of ballet tutus, all those swirling fabrics, and the idea of ballet itself! It felt like the perfect expression of the graceful yet powerful feelings I'd found in those horses on the commons.

And ever since then, I've been on a mission to share the love, spreading the joy of dance, especially the pink-tutu-loving kind! It's not about perfection, not about being the best, but about experiencing the joy of movement. That's what's important to me.

So, for now, let's go back to that exciting trip to the American-style tutu sale! Imagine the beautiful layers of tulle, the shimmer of sequins under the light, the delicate pink that would bring out your inner ballerina!

Even though the sale is over, there's no excuse not to live out your own pink tutu dreams, lovelies! Remember, every day can be a "ballet day." Even without the tutu (though, I highly encourage the tutu!), it's all about finding that joyful movement in your life.

A long walk in the park, taking your favorite route, or even just a twirl around your living room, it doesn't have to be perfect. It just needs to feel right.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm off on another train adventure, heading to London for the grand ballet gala this weekend! And, who knows, maybe I'll be lucky enough to spot some stunning American-style tutus there, too.

Until next time, stay sassy and keep dancing! ๐Ÿ’•

Love,

Emma
