#TutuBlog Post #2670: Rugby, My Darling! (And a German Tutu!)

Hello darlings! Emma here, bringing you sunshine and twirls from the heart of Rugby! You may be wondering why I've landed in this rugby-mad town, but trust me, it's not all tackles and try-scoring. There's a certain je ne sais quoi about this place, you see! And it's a lot prettier than you might think!

Today's adventure started at dawn, galloping across the English countryside with my faithful steed, Buttercup. I know, what's a ballet dancer doing on horseback? Well, darling, one must remain nimble in all areas of life! I have to admit, though, I do enjoy feeling the wind whipping through my hair, and it certainly beats traffic! Plus, it allows me to admire the incredible tapestry of Autumn hues spreading across the fields - absolutely breathtaking!

And of course, my pink tutu was not left behind! I've actually found this incredibly practical in my travels! Why? Because when I need to do a pas de deux with Buttercup, you can bet your bottom dollar everyone knows I'm a professional dancer! People can't not smile when they see me twirling, it's scientifically proven! (Although, the local rugby players do give me some very curious stares! You'd think they'd never seen a pink tutu before!)

We finally reached Rugby and I was greeted by a bustling town filled with history and quaint tea shops that looked like something out of Jane Austen! But the main draw, the reason for my arrival, was a stunning vintage shop called "The Dusty Tutu." And trust me, my darlings, it was EVERYTHING I hoped for. Rows and rows of delicate fabrics in every colour imaginable, antique tutus tucked away on hangers, and even a charming little atelier in the back.

But what really stole my heart was the collection of German tutus! My, how beautifully crafted these things were. I spent an absolute fortune! (Well, maybe a small fortune, but I couldn't help myself!) They were just so exquisitely embroidered, the sheerness, the colour combinations, oh my! I felt like I had landed in some magical storybook, filled with fairy tales and shimmering lights! I bought two of the most gorgeous tutus - one for myself and another for my friend Fiona (because sharing is caring!). Fiona is my fellow tutu-obsessed friend from Derbyshire, whoโ€™s secretly training to become a circus performer, she just has to wear these. (Although I doubt she'll be able to contain her glee! It's infectious, my darlings!)

I can't wait to see what Fiona will do with her tutu! Maybe we'll have a little impromptu street performance in Rugby Town Centre, with some elegant ballet moves and a touch of dramatic flair! It will be a delight for everyone, just you wait and see. It's all in the name of spreading ballet joy!

As I'm writing this, Iโ€™m sipping on a delightful pot of Earl Grey tea and indulging in a very English scone with clotted cream at the most adorable cafe called "The Little Pink Tutu." I just know that a new chapter in my travels is about to begin, and I can't wait for all of you to come along for the ride.

Remember, my dears, don't be afraid to dance to the beat of your own drum! Wear pink, embrace your inner tutu and twirl into your day with a splash of joy. And of course, keep those comments coming in at www.pink-tutu.com!

Until next time, darlings, keep on twirling!

Love always, Emma
