Chingford Calling!

Hello darlings! Emma here, and it's time to twirl into another fabulous day. I’ve got a brand-new pink tutu waiting for me, a train journey that I can barely contain my excitement for, and a weekend packed with all things dancey!

It's hard to believe how fast this year is whizzing by - October's practically done! I feel like I blinked and suddenly it's nearly bonfire night. Goodness me, I love a good bonfire! There's just something so exciting and cosy about those chilly Autumn evenings with a crackling fire and the scent of smoke in the air, don't you think? I especially love those firework displays. So many colours - just like a tutu! It’s such a reminder that no matter how long you’ve been around, magic and wonder is always there!

Now, back to my exciting day… I’m in my lovely Derbyshire home today, and I'm getting ready for a grand adventure. It's a day trip to the enchanting Chingford. You all know my obsession with beautiful ballet and my love for beautiful locations, right? Well, I’ve discovered a stunning new studio called "Dancing on Air" in Chingford, and I just have to check it out. They’re known for their traditional approach and beautiful Italian tutus, and the images I've seen are pure inspiration. I already have a few Italian tutus myself, of course, but I never say no to a bit more sparkle.

Riding the Rails

Now, Chingford's a good old-fashioned train ride away from me, and you all know my weakness for the rails! The journey is always part of the adventure, and it’s just the time to pop in my headphones, crank up some Mozart and lose myself in the world of ballet for a bit. I've got a perfect new pink tutu to wear, just the thing for a day of dance - so soft and delicate and it goes so well with the railway station, with its old-world charm. And of course, pink always adds a dash of whimsy and magic.

I can almost feel the excitement bubbling up already! The sound of the train's clickety-clack will soon fill the air. This train trip gives me the chance to be totally immersed in ballet fantasy. The chug of the train becomes the rhythm of my heart. The soft rolling of the wheels - the graceful swaying of the dancer. I’ve even found myself creating ballet routines inspired by the railroad - a quick series of jetés to emulate the journey of the train across the countryside. The rhythmic tap tap tap of the train is a perfect ballet step, too! Oh the wonderment.

I’ll share a snapshot of my fabulous outfit later, but of course it has to involve pink! My tutu is a soft, pretty shade of pale pink, and it’s paired with a crisp white t-shirt for a touch of elegance. Of course, I’ll be wearing my trusty ballet shoes (in pink, naturally!). To finish off the look, a little delicate pink necklace and my trusty, sparkling ballet bag to hold all my necessities. After all, a ballerina never travels lightly.

Onward To Chingford!

As I leave my beautiful Derbyshire home, I take one more glance at the field and the horses grazing peacefully. I always feel a sense of tranquility whenever I am around horses - they are just so majestic and strong, like graceful ballerinas in their own way. Maybe one day, I can even try horse riding with a tutu - wouldn’t that be a scene! But for now, the train awaits me, and Chingford is calling! I'll let you know how the new studio is and what gorgeous tutus I find. Until then, darlings, don’t forget to spread the ballet love, twirl, and wear a touch of pink in your everyday life.

Keep it sweet, Emma

*PS: Have you seen the new Ballet show "The Dancing Birds" at the Royal Opera House this week? I'm dying to see it - just let me know what you think. *
