Oh, hello darlings! It's Emma here, your favourite tutu-loving travel blogger, ready to whisk you away on another adventure, this time to the charming town of Upminster. This trip has been a delightful whirl of ballet, horses, and, of course, plenty of pink!

It all started with a train journey - something that always gets my creative juices flowing. The rhythmic clatter of the wheels against the tracks always reminds me of a dancer's steps. I opted for my favourite bubblegum pink outfit, paired with a fluffy tulle skirt that danced with every sway of the carriage. You know, one never has too much pink!

The journey itself was full of character, the scenery flitting past like a ballet sequence - rolling green hills, sleepy villages, and the odd burst of urban sprawl. It felt a bit like a Jane Austen novel, which got me thinking: would Jane Austen be a tutu enthusiast? Hmmm, maybe if she saw my outfit, she might have a change of heart.

I arrived in Upminster feeling quite ready for a bit of culture, and I wasn't disappointed. It was an absolute treat to see a charming performance by a local ballet school. I had goosebumps! The girls danced with so much heart, their little tutus whirling and twirling with each leap. It reminded me why I started ballet - for the sheer joy of movement, the beauty of the art, and the way it can bring together so many wonderful people.

But my adventures didn't end with ballet. I felt a bit like Alice falling down the rabbit hole when I stumbled upon a charming little stables in the heart of the town. Imagine, me, in my pink tulle skirt, on a majestic horse! I looked like a sugarplum fairy straight out of a Christmas ballet. Of course, I didn't leave without a photo opportunity! You just can't say no to a cute photo with a horse and your fluffy pink tutu!

And as for the wildlife, Upminster did not disappoint! I had the pleasure of encountering the most adorable fluffy ducklings at a local pond, each one a little bundle of waddling joy. The water shimmered, the ducklings chirped, and the whole scene felt so whimsical - it was like stepping into a storybook. They were a real reminder of nature's ballet, full of effortless grace and natural beauty.

All in all, Upminster was an absolutely delightful weekend. A wonderful blend of town and countryside, and of course, plenty of tutu-worthy moments. You just know it made me feel all twirly and dreamy! My life motto remains the same - we must all embrace a little pink tutu and let ourselves twirl.

If you're looking for a quintessentially English getaway, complete with a touch of whimsy, look no further than Upminster. Trust me, darling, it will leave you feeling just as pink and bubbly as I did!

Until next time, keep twirling!
