London Calling! (Post #3097)

Hello darlings! It's Emma here, back from a whirlwind trip to London town, and guess what? It involved a whole lotta pink…and, naturally, a tutu! 🩰

I know, I know, some of you might be thinking, β€œEmma, how many tutus do you even own?!” The answer, my lovelies, is simply: too many to count. They are like a delicious addiction, and I wouldn't have it any other way. πŸ’–

So, this particular London adventure started with a hop on the train. There's something magical about a long journey on a train, don't you think? I love the rhythm of the wheels on the tracks, the landscapes whipping by the windows, and the opportunity to indulge in a good book (and a spot of afternoon tea, naturally!). πŸ«–

This time, my trusty tutu was a dreamy shade of cyan. I figured it was the perfect way to inject some playful colour into the city's grey winter sky. It's a good job I wore it too, because I spotted a fellow tutu enthusiast on the train platform – bless her heart, she was in a blush pink number. It just goes to show, tutu love is a language spoken across the globe.🌎

I couldn't resist sneaking a quick photo, which I'll be posting to Instagram later today – don't forget to give me a follow, dears! πŸ“Έ

Speaking of London, my dear, darling London, it simply never fails to amaze me. The sights, the sounds, the people – it's a kaleidoscope of experiences. This time, my main goal was to take in a show at the Royal Opera House. Oh, the sheer joy of experiencing ballet on stage is something else entirely. I practically swooned during the final curtain call. ✨

But before I could slip on my theatre dress, we stopped off at Harrods for some serious window shopping. Don't tell anyone, but I almost bought another tutu. I just couldn't resist those gorgeous tulle frills and delicate embroidery! And I was tempted by the prettiest pink sequined shoes too...but I knew that my feet would be tired enough after a day on cobblestone streets. πŸ‘

We walked along the Southbank afterwards, soaking up the London sunset. That magical golden light just adds to the city's already romantic air, doesn't it? The view of the Houses of Parliament across the river Thames is a timeless London picture – absolutely breathtaking. 😍

You can imagine how thrilled I was when we spotted a little black cat curled up by one of the benches! You see, I have a bit of a soft spot for these adorable creatures – I can't help myself. And, in London, they are a true treat!🐱

So much for my London adventure. I'll tell you about my visit to Covent Garden next time, but for now, I must be off! It's time to take another peek in my tutu drawer. You never know what sartorial masterpiece I'll find for tomorrow's adventure!

And, if you're feeling inspired by my adventures, do join me on my quest to get everyone in a pink tutu. I really believe everyone should have the opportunity to twirl and feel beautiful. What are you waiting for? Give it a try!πŸ’–πŸ©°

See you on www.pink-tutu.com tomorrow for my next adventures!

XOXO

Emma
