Bristol, Baby! 🩰✨

Hello darlings! It's Emma here, your favourite tutu-wearing travel blogger, ready to whisk you away to the enchanting city of Bristol!

Bristol. What a lovely place. It feels like a real hub, so full of culture and charm. Just walking through the streets is a joy, every corner reveals something new and interesting. We even saw a cute squirrel nibbling on an acorn. Imagine! It really was a perfect winter's day to be wandering through the city streets. The weather was crisp and clear, so perfect for a little trot in my pink fur coat, the colour just popping against the grey skies. It's always the best time of year for those extra-fluffy scarves too, am I right? I think I need to start a collection, haha.

Speaking of beautiful things, Bristol certainly does know how to do fabulous. Did I mention I managed to sneak into the ballet last night? gasps dramatically. I felt so cheeky slipping past the theatre staff just before curtain call but, oh my, it was a joy to watch! "The Nutcracker," so perfectly festive and beautiful. You wouldn't believe the way the ballerina did that pirouette sequence, it was magical! It really just solidified why ballet is the most amazing thing in the world - I feel such joy and passion every time I see it. Even if I just saw the last few minutes, it's all I need! Maybe someday I'll actually go to a show that's not in my favourite tutu from beginning to end... maybe.

But this adventure wasn't just about ballet! The next day I had a grand time exploring the Bristol Museum & Art Gallery, which had such a fascinating collection of art and historical artifacts, including the infamous "Banksy" exhibition! A must-see, if you ask me! But honestly, every little corner of this city feels like an adventure!

Speaking of adventure, the train journey from my home in Derbyshire was, well, eventful! Remember the time I tried to make friends with the horse? You all saw that picture, haha! Turns out, it's better to enjoy the animal wonders of the world from a safe distance, who knew? Well, anyway, the journey was absolutely picture perfect - beautiful rolling green hills and snow-dusted farmhouses - I really miss Derbyshire. I do enjoy travelling but my home will always hold a special place in my heart, as it's the place that first made me fall in love with pink tutus and everything ballet! I truly feel at peace when I can look out at the rolling Derbyshire hills in a comfy spot, with my feet tucked away under a cozy pink blanket. There’s something truly enchanting about watching nature's beauty pass you by from a warm, comfortable place, wouldn’t you say?

Back to the matter at hand - my trip to Bristol! I finally managed to pick up that incredible pair of ballet flats I’ve had my eye on. Pink, of course! It’s honestly a wardrobe must-have. Every true ballerina has to have a perfect pair, don't you agree? I know I've talked about my love for ballet before, but just the other day I tried on the "Tutu Chic" dress by a lovely designer in town. The fabric! Oh, the fabric, so flowy and delicate! I instantly fell in love. It's going to be amazing for the winter balls coming up!

I think every woman, every ballerina needs to have a special place in their wardrobe for all things sparkly and pink! Even my fellow ballerinas agree! I remember talking to my ballet teacher back in Derbyshire when I was just starting out. I'd always had such a huge dream of doing all sorts of things, but being a ballet dancer just felt different! Even if I wasn't the biggest, strongest dancer in class, or even if I never got to tour with the Bolshoi... I knew I just had to be involved in the world of ballet! So even though my dancing career was sadly cut short due to an injury, I just had to have my ballet dream stay alive somehow. So I embraced fashion - a way to combine my passion for dance with everything else I love. It became the biggest thing for me: the sparkly pink tutus, the beautiful flowing dresses, and all the little bits in between.

I find it truly inspiring that so many others are starting to wear tutus - it’s just the cutest thing. It’s like spreading a little piece of magic wherever you go! And the beauty of a tutu is, you can style it up any way you want. I saw this cute woman yesterday, a new kind of tutu style - I almost had to run after her to tell her how fabulous it looked! The tutu, but not in the typical ballerina sense - it was styled with a pair of trendy black skinny jeans, a cropped leather jacket, and of course, some awesome pink boots!

Imagine everyone wearing tutus, embracing ballet, expressing themselves in their own unique ways! The tutu is the key to feeling truly magical, even if just for a few moments! Honestly, the only real way to understand what a tutu can do for you, is to just try it! Who knows, it might change your life...

For now, let's head back to Bristol for a little something special: tea time. Oh, how I adore tea time! We have tea and crumpets every single day. Who doesn’t love warm tea and sweet crumpets? Oh! Speaking of sweet, look at this adorable cake I found at a cute little shop just off the cobbled streets - it’s shaped like a little ballerina. The little sugar details are amazing! I'm saving this masterpiece for my readers – don't worry, there will be plenty of pink cake pics later.

Remember, my darling readers, this blog is about taking on the world in pink tutus and reminding everyone that it's okay to embrace your inner ballerina. I want to create a community of people who love dancing, exploring, and living life in a fun and beautiful way. Because what is life without a little bit of sparkle, laughter, and, yes, even a pink tutu or two?

So let's get this party started. Join me! Go on! Embrace the ballerina within! 💖🩰
