Walton Upon Thames: Tutu Travels & Wildlife Wonders! 🩰🌸

Post Number 3707

Hello my gorgeous tutu-lovers! It's Emma, your daily dose of pink and pirouettes from www.pink-tutu.com! Today, I'm taking you on a whirlwind trip from my Derbyshire home all the way to the lovely town of Walton upon Thames. You know me, I can't resist a bit of adventure and a good dose of ballet wherever I go.

Train Travels & Tutu Talk

So, I started my day with a glorious train journey. Honestly, there's something so romantic and quintessentially British about travelling by train. Plus, it gives me a chance to sit back, relax, and plan my outfit for the day! This one was a no-brainer – a black tutu, of course, but with a delicate, pink flower detail on the waistband to add a touch of my signature flair. It’s amazing what a few floral details can do to liven up a basic tutu! You can find the tutorial on my YouTube channel later tonight – so many of you have asked me to film a video on this little embellishment trick!

The Wonder of Walton Upon Thames

As soon as I arrived in Walton upon Thames, I was struck by its charm. The bustling streets, the quaint little shops, the green spaces – it truly feels like a town steeped in history and beauty. My mission today: ballet, of course, and also to explore this lovely place.

A Ballerina’s Paradise

My first stop was the beautiful Walton upon Thames Theatre. It was absolutely enchanting - the red velvet seats, the stage bathed in golden light - a real theatrical dream! I couldn’t resist a quick twirl in the foyer – what can I say, a tutu makes any location perfect for a mini dance! They were hosting a fantastic showcase of classical and contemporary ballet that evening. Imagine, an entire night dedicated to graceful leaps, intricate footwork, and elegant artistry - pure ballet bliss!

Walton upon Thames’ Secret Wildlife Oasis

Now, I love a bit of ballet, but no adventure is complete without a spot of wildlife spotting! I ventured into the beautiful, tranquil gardens of The Manor House. As a true wildlife lover, this little oasis in the town was a real treat. The Manor House has been transformed into a bustling cafe, which served a delightful afternoon tea with delicate pink cupcakes (of course!) and the most perfect cup of earl grey.

Pink Perfection & The Art of Inspiration

Let’s talk tutus. For the afternoon stroll through the Manor House gardens, I switched my black tutu for my pale pink version. Pink, you know, is always a winning colour, especially for afternoon strolls. I'm all about encouraging women to express their own unique style, and wearing a pink tutu is the perfect way to add a bit of playful confidence to your day. This look is a real testament to that – delicate femininity but with a hint of edgy coolness thanks to a studded pink belt.

I’m starting a little project called ‘Pink Tutu Wednesdays’. I want to see you all embracing the pink tutu spirit - take a photo of yourself wearing your most colourful pink tutu (it could be bright, pastel, any shade!) in your favourite place. Tag it #pinktutu Wednesdays and #EmmaPinkTutu. I’ll be posting my favourite pictures to my website on Fridays!

Lessons Learned from a Day in Walton upon Thames

It was such a delightful day, full of graceful dance, breathtaking nature, and a whole lot of pink, of course! But most importantly, it reminds me of something: embrace the joy in the ordinary. Let's turn every day into an adventure, wear a pink tutu with pride, and always remember that life is meant to be danced, explored, and enjoyed.

Until next time, my dear tutu-lovers!

Love, Emma x
