Good morning lovelies! Today's blog is a little different from usual - we're going on a journey, and let's be honest, when the option exists, it's always a better time if you're riding a horse. 🐴
So, I'm sat here on the train, just about to leave Derbyshire (sniff!), but I'm all set for a glamorous day. A real pink tutu adventure to Aldridge - and a good reason to bring my fave pink tutu out of retirement. Let's be honest, who could resist a pink tulle dream, especially when it comes with sparkly sequins? 🤩
My reason for journeying? You guessed it - ballet! There's something magical about those glittering stages, the soaring leaps, the whispered secrets of the corps de ballet. They're the unspoken words in a dance that tells the most beautiful stories. ❤️
Aldridge isn't exactly a usual stop on the tutu circuit, but the *[insert specific ballet performance details, including name, company, etc. here] * promises a delightful treat. Think "Swan Lake", but with a touch of "Nutcracker" whimsy - it's gonna be amazing!
Of course, I wouldn't be a true #TutuBlogger without prepping for the day. It wouldn't be fair to Aldridge to arrive without a touch of sparkle, wouldn't it? 😉 I've even packed some extra pink - just in case someone needs a little pep in their step.
After all, wouldn't the world be a much prettier place if we were all dancing in pink tutus? 🤔
Oh, but wait - there's something even better! After the performance, we're meeting up for tea and chat with the lovely [insert the name of your ballet friend(s) here]! And let's be real - there's nothing more delicious than sharing a slice of Victoria sponge (or three) after a delightful show!🍰
The rest of the week looks promising too. We have a ballet class (naturally!), followed by a stroll through the Derbyshire countryside. If we're lucky, maybe we'll spot a family of deer, maybe even a playful squirrel - their tiny tutus would be adorable, don't you think? 🦌🐿️
Anyway, time to indulge in some of these dreamy cloud-shaped treats in the train buffet. Stay tuned for an exciting update later, where we'll debrief the show, the tea, the tutus - the whole shebang! ✨
