Bournville Bound in Pink! 🩰

Post Number 4114

Hello darlings! It’s your favourite pink tutu-clad ballerina, Emma, checking in from the most magical place, Bournville!

Now, let’s be honest, it's not just any ol’ Bournville… it's the Bournville where Cadbury's Chocolate is born! Imagine me, surrounded by the most divine scent of chocolate, a swirling tutu the colour of the most decadent pink candy floss… it's pure bliss! 🍫💕

Before we dive into this delightful day, let’s rewind a bit! ⏪ This morning started as all the best days do… with a gloriously girly breakfast fit for a ballerina. I whipped up a delectable berry smoothie, followed by a dainty croissant drizzled with the most luscious strawberry jam. I tell you, the colours alone were enough to inspire a beautiful pirouette! 🍓🥐

Now, I confess, I took a leap of faith on my journey here. My trusty steed, my trusty mare, she couldn’t make it to Birmingham! So, like a true pink-loving, tutu-wearing adventurer, I hopped on the train. I’m a bit of a train fanatic you see, just the thought of soaring across the countryside while looking chic in a pink tutu, well, it's exhilarating! The landscape flashed by – green fields, babbling brooks… I couldn't help but imagine myself dancing along to a symphony orchestrated by the rhythmic clickety-clack of the wheels. 🎼✨

My adventure continued, and you guessed it! There I was, standing right outside Cadbury World. Oh my! My inner child was practically doing a full-on grand jeté right there in the courtyard! The air itself felt infused with sweetness, and I couldn't help but skip my way inside, practically vibrating with anticipation. 🤩

Cadbury World, now, this is a haven for anyone who adores a little bit of sweetness and fun. I won’t spoil it all, but let's just say that I found myself taking a rather daring ride through a magical chocolate river… wearing my tutu, of course! Who can resist a splash of pink in a world of cocoa dreams? 😜🍫🌊

And what about the* ballet scene in Bournville?* Let me tell you, this place is teeming with creative energy. The Bournville Ballet School, hidden away like a secret gem, has been radiating passion for decades. You can feel it in the air, in every step, every leap, and even in the beautiful little cafe, adorned with the most adorable ballet posters. It reminded me that ballet isn't just a form of dance; it's a way of life, and a way to share love for the arts with the whole world! 💕🌎

Now, dear readers, you'll understand why I couldn’t resist throwing myself into a quick, impromptu ballet class at Bournville School. Let’s just say I embraced a graceful, tutu-infused flurry of arabesques, fouettés, and a few spins that might have left the room slightly dizzy. Oh, how I adore the energy and magic of a well-conducted class, it makes my soul sing! 💃🏼

My journey didn't stop there, oh no! Later that evening, the stars were aligning in my favour, because guess what I found? An open-air theatre nestled away in a corner of Bournville's quaint, tree-lined streets. Now, how can a pink-loving ballerina resist a magical theatrical experience? I was there in a flash! ✨

A troupe of talented local dancers were performing a vibrant street ballet show - a glorious celebration of storytelling, music, and, of course, expressive movements. I could feel the audience’s appreciation – their eyes lit up, their hearts pulsed in rhythm with the music. We all became part of the show. It was the kind of magic you can only find when passion and dedication meet. It had me craving to take the stage! 🌟

My trip wouldn't be complete without some delicious Bournville treats. I mean, I did wear a pink tutu right past the most delicious chocolate havens! You could say I succumbed to temptation. I couldn't leave without trying The Cadbury Cream Egg: a delightful burst of fluffy white cream nestled within a soft milk chocolate shell. My friend from Derbyshire would have been very jealous indeed! It was a true taste of paradise, a sugary little victory in my little pink tutu. 😋

Now, the real world beckons me, back to Derbyshire, to a pile of new pink tutus arriving on my doorstep tomorrow! And you, my lovelies? Are you dreaming of donning your own tutu and twirling under a moonlit sky? Perhaps a grand leap over a flowing river? 🩰✨

Remember, the world is waiting for your unique pirouette, so wear your hearts on your sleeves and your pink tutus with pride! 💕💖

Catch you all soon, darlings,

With love and twirls,

Emma 💖
