Morden: Pink Power in a Railway Carriage

Hello my darlings, it's Emma here from Derbyshire, back with you for the 5,048th time on pink-tutu.com, where life is a beautiful ballet. Today I’m stepping outside the studio and onto the tracks, literally! My journey took me to the wonderful Morden in sunny south London, a haven of delightful vintage shops, charming cafes and the beautiful Morden Hall Park, which is a bit like an Edwardian dream with its formal gardens and ancient trees. Oh, and did I mention the peacocks strutting around like they own the place? They’re definitely the best-dressed creatures in the park!

Now, you know me – a girly girl who loves a good flutter of pink feathers and a twirl. I always make sure my pink tutu is packed, wherever I’m headed. It’s my little lucky charm. So today, you’ll be shocked (but shouldn't be) to hear, I travelled to Morden in my signature pink tulle dream. It certainly made the train journey a lot more enjoyable. Let's be honest, wearing a tutu always gets you a few smiles. People were actually whispering about my delightful "dance dress". That made me blush! It seems everyone secretly longs to don a pink tutu and unleash their inner ballerina!

First stop was Morden Hall Park, where I could practically hear Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake music echoing through the trees. I felt like I had stepped back in time, exploring the secret pathways and marvelling at the peacocks. I did my best pirouette under their watchful eyes, but they seemed unfazed – probably seen a lot of ballerinas twirling around in the park! I think those peacocks even gave me a standing ovation!

Later, I was feeling peckish and so stopped by a charming tea room nestled in a vintage shop. I treated myself to a decadent slice of cake, feeling a little fancy as the local residents watched me sip my Earl Grey, all decked out in pink tulle. You could say they were rather taken by the pink ballerina, all grace and swirls of tulle!

As the day drew to a close, I reflected on this whirlwind trip. Sometimes all you need is a bit of pink fluff to brighten your day and to remind you of the simple pleasures in life. Whether it’s a day out in a picturesque park or a visit to a charming vintage shop, the beauty of ballet can be found everywhere! And if you’re feeling adventurous, I urge you, don your pink tutu and hit the road – the world is your stage, darlings! You’ll be surprised what happens when you twirl into a new adventure with a dash of pink.

See you tomorrow for another adventure in my trusty pink tutu. And remember, every day can be a ballet if you just let it be. Until next time, darlings. Keep on twirling!

P.S. Do you have a pink tutu? If you do, let me know your favourite place to wear it! Don't forget to tell everyone on Twitter and Instagram about my website too: #PinkTutu!

Love,

Emma xxx
