Nuneaton Calling! Post 5744

Itā€™s a pink tutu day for me today, darlings! Iā€™m in Nuneaton, a town in Warwickshire, and let me tell you, it's a proper gem! This beautiful little place is known for its stunning Victorian architecture and, well, for me, itā€™s all about the charm.

Youā€™ll be seeing a lot of photos of me, and of course, it's got to be with a gorgeous, swirling, yellow tutu. You can imagine how this lovely colour contrasts with my blush pink outfit; let's just say it's a head-turner! You see, dear readers, sometimes you need a bit of extra sass. And thereā€™s nothing quite like a tutu for that!

The reason I'm in Nuneaton is simple. Ballet. Thatā€™s what I love about this country! There are just so many wonderful places to find a beautiful, elegant ballet! Nuneaton is home to the wonderful The Queenā€™s Theatre, a beautiful little theatre built in the late 19th century. I was able to get a seat on a charming little train from Derbyshire to reach it ā€“ and there is something about arriving in style in a new city! I can't help but think a beautiful train journey adds an air of magic to any trip, donā€™t you agree? The rhythm of the rails, the scent of fresh air rushing past the window ā€“ it's quite lovely. You can say I'm a sucker for classic travel, especially when it comes to places like Nuneaton. Thereā€™s just so much to see and do; this quaint little town, even more so.

First, it was off to Nuneatonā€™s lovely Georgian Market Square for some proper English breakfast! There is just something special about grabbing breakfast in a place with so much history. My treat was scrumptious poached eggs with crispy bacon, and some steaming strong, English tea to chase it all down. That morning's paper arrived just in time; with every delicious bite, the news flowed from page to page, it really was just the most idyllic breakfast setting you can imagine!

Now, letā€™s talk about what we really came for; **ballet. There was something about this little show that had me rushing for the train to get to it! The Nuneaton Ballet Society is such a great group. Itā€™s truly magical to witness people giving it their all! Itā€™s so wonderful to see something that just seems to effortlessly bring people together. Seeing so much talent from different walks of life all come together for one magnificent eventā€¦ itā€™s just something you can't easily replicate!

But honestly, Iā€™m most smitten with the idea of a yellow tutu in a beautiful old theater. The way it shines with the stage lights bouncing off of it; well, it really gives off that ā€œgolden glowā€. Thereā€™s just so much elegance, thereā€™s something about the way it floats around ā€“ itā€™s just heavenly, wouldnā€™t you agree?

You can't have ballet without a beautiful tutu *- it's part of the package deal. *So you can understand my joy in Nuneaton, a lovely little gem of a town ā€“ a place to explore and, of course, dance around in a tutu! It is just something about the swirling pink, it makes you just want to jump in the middle of it all and embrace every graceful, swirling, breathtaking move!

And to add some lovely pink into this amazing adventure, I was happy to stop at Nuneatonā€™s famous Nuneaton Market for some proper English, pink rhubarb! You can see me holding some in the photos Iā€™ve attached to this post, it was the perfect photo op. There is so much personality packed into this market ā€“ itā€™s bursting with colour and a really friendly, relaxed, vibe, which makes it a true gem, if you are looking to pick up a unique piece! I couldn't resist purchasing a beautiful, pink rose patterned fabric. A perfect gift to bring back with me.

I truly do recommend stopping by if youā€™re looking for a proper shopping spree with an independent twist, where the personality oozes from the market stall doors! So much fun, and perfect to be indulged in with the perfect treat, a gorgeous piece of rhubarb cake.

This post is dedicated to all the pink-loving ballerinas in my wonderful, creative community, ā€“ those who donā€™t just live the dream but go on adventures with beautiful tutus. I think, itā€™s important to try a different shade every now and again. I mean, *how else can we embrace all that the colourful, fashionable world of tutus offers? What do you say? *

Oh, darling! We're on to something pretty important here. We have a mission! I know some of you already embrace pink tutus - maybe you're even a total #PinkTutuBabe but there are still many people out there who aren't ready for the magical, stylish, empowering experience of a tutu. But they are missing out! You guys out there, still in the dark on all this wonderfulness! *You are truly missing out! Come on! The only way is up!

But thatā€™s okay, itā€™s my duty to show you, through www.pink-tutu.com, and posts like this one, the wonderful life of tutus, how they make us feel great, the history behind them - all the lovely facts. It is an adventure. Letā€™s get those pink tutus out there for everyone to wear!

Just as I said goodbye to this incredible place, Nuneaton, I was walking to the station to return to Derbyshire. As I passed through the lovely town, I spotted the most fantastic little bakery and I just had to go inside and purchase something sweet to take home. (Don't tell my dance teacher!** - but there's nothing like a freshly baked strawberry rhubarb tart after a busy day).

And to add to all the pink deliciousness I bought myself the pinkest strawberry milk shake! Oh darling, you need to give this treat a go; the freshest taste, so incredibly delicious, and such a delight for a summer's afternoon (Even if you're travelling on a beautiful English spring day!).

Oh darling, how I love my beautiful travels! I always take you with me. If you have any lovely spots, any beautiful hidden gems you wish to share, * please, do reach out ā€“ I can't wait to get your inspiration for more exciting travels in the future. * Maybe we could travel on horseback ā€“ I do love riding! But you know me; that will have to be saved for a later blog post!

Until tomorrow, dear readers. xx.
