Chingford Calling! 🌸

Hey darlings! It's Emma here, back with you on your favourite daily dose of pink tulle and pirouettes! I'm currently nestled in a gorgeous little hotel in Chingford, London, sipping on a very pink gin and tonic. Don't worry, I'm not planning on getting too tipsy, I've got a busy day of ballet fun lined up tomorrow!

Today's travel was a bit of a dream, though! Imagine it: a charming carriage pulled by a beautiful chestnut horse, clip-clopping through the English countryside. It was the most picturesque way to arrive, just like something out of a fairytale. I've got to say, nothing beats a good old-fashioned horse-drawn carriage when you want to feel truly pampered and transported to another time. πŸ’–

As for my outfit... oh darling, it was an absolute vision! I couldn't resist a chance to showcase my new "Ciao Bella" tutu – you know, the one with the adorable ruffled Italian design in the softest blush pink? It paired perfectly with my classic white lace-up ballet shoes and a flowing, floral printed dress, all topped off with a tiny pink ribbon tied in my hair. πŸŽ€

Speaking of ballet, my biggest treat for tomorrow is a trip to the Sadler's Wells Theatre in London! I just snagged tickets for "Romeo and Juliet", and let me tell you, I am SO excited! It's going to be glorious, I can already picture the passionate movements, the tragic romance, and the sheer artistry of it all. And, of course, I'm going to rock a gorgeous, shimmering tutu – a delicate black this time, perfect for the dramatic setting. πŸ’ƒ

I've been so inspired lately by all the beautiful ballets I've been watching. From the stunning grandeur of the Royal Ballet to the breathtaking artistry of a smaller theatre performance just last week, the magic never fades. It’s inspiring me to push my own ballet boundaries too! I've started trying some new steps and even exploring a little bit of ballet street style – you know, blending ballet moves with urban dance – I'm still figuring it all out, but it's so much fun!

It's actually incredible how ballet can touch so many aspects of life. There's the graceful poise, the powerful expression, and the raw beauty that makes your heart soar. And it's not just on stage, darling. Ballet is everywhere! You can see it in the way a child takes their first steps, in the fluid movements of a swan on a lake, or in the way a graceful dancer spins effortlessly in a park. Even just the simple act of moving our bodies with elegance can bring a touch of ballet magic into everyday life. ✨

Speaking of grace, I just have to share this delightful moment from my train journey: A group of children were playing in the carriage next to me, all giggling and pretending to be little ballerinas. Their enthusiasm and love for dance were infectious, and it truly warmed my heart. It reminds me of my own journey – starting out in a little village hall in Derbyshire, fuelled by the joy of movement and the beauty of this incredible art form.

It's moments like these that inspire me to keep spreading the love of ballet to the world. Every day, I aim to encourage everyone, even those who think they "can't dance", to explore the world of ballet. Imagine a world where everyone embraces the grace and artistry of dance! That's my mission – to encourage everyone to put on their own pink tutus, even if it's just in the comfort of their living rooms, and experience the sheer joy and beauty of this truly magnificent art form! πŸ’—

Now, off I go to grab a delicious, pink cupcake (because you can't travel to London without treating yourself!) before my big ballet adventure tomorrow. 🧁 Stay tuned for more updates, darling! You won't want to miss what's coming!

See you soon! XOXO Emma
