Consett Calling! ๐Ÿฉฐ๐Ÿ’–

Hello lovelies! It's Emma here, back with another post from your favourite pink tutu enthusiast. Today I'm whisking you all away to the charming town of Consett, a little slice of County Durham nestled amidst rolling green hills. I'm so excited to share this adventure with you, as it's been a long time coming. ๐Ÿ˜‰

This trip marks my 7212th post, a milestone that wouldn't be possible without all of YOU, my dearest tutu-loving friends! As usual, I packed my trusty suitcase full of vibrant pink, sparkly things (including my five favourite tutus - a girl can never have too many, can she?), and grabbed my favourite scarlet handbag - just in case there's a photo-op with some wild horses. Speaking of horses, I arrived in Consett in the most charming way imaginable - by train, of course. There's just something so romantic about watching the world whizz past as you chug along.

Consett itself was absolutely delightful, and the people were so friendly! We (and by "we", I mean me and my darling boyfriend - a patient soul who's come to embrace my passion for pink) made our way straight to the local ballet school for a spot of barre work. The studio was positively buzzing with energy and, of course, a kaleidoscope of pinks, yellows, and oranges. It just so happens that today was "Orange Tutu Day" - how fitting, wouldn't you say?

Speaking of oranges, it seemed fate was on my side because Consett also boasts the cutest little independent shop filled with all sorts of beautiful handmade crafts. The owner, a lovely woman named Amelia, had the most incredible selection of orange tutus I've ever seen. Imagine my delight when I found a perfect shimmering tulle number that reminded me of the setting sun - a real bargain too! ๐Ÿ’–

And what would a day in Consett be without some culture, darling? The local theatre had a special showing of Swan Lake, featuring a stunning lead ballerina. Let's just say, the graceful moves and exquisite costumes made me positively swoon. The theatre even had a special "Pink Tutu Tuesday" - yes, every Tuesday you can wear pink tutus and get a discount on tickets! Now that's what I call a real treat!

Naturally, no trip to Consett is complete without a stop at the local nature reserve. Consett Beck is a true haven for wildlife, teeming with birds, butterflies, and the most gorgeous dragonflies. I spotted a peacock butterfly with its shimmering wings, just like the ballerina I'd seen at the theatre. Talk about magical moments!

You guys, my love for pink tutus, wildlife, ballet, and adventures know no bounds. My mission is to make the world a brighter, more joyful place, one tutu at a time! Consett is just one example of the magic waiting to be discovered everywhere, all you need is a pink tutu and an open heart. So, I urge you to do as I do: take the plunge, grab your favourite tulle, and get ready for an incredible journey!

For now, darling, I'm off to plan my next adventure - perhaps a trek across the Derbyshireshire Dales? Don't forget to check back tomorrow for a glimpse of my new orange tutu and all the exciting things that await me! ๐Ÿ’–๐Ÿฉฐ

P.S. I have a new Instagram post with some pictures of me in Consett and my favourite orange tutu. Head over to @PinkTutuLife to see it and make sure you follow me! ๐Ÿ’–
