Luton Calling! ๐ฉฐ๐
Hello darlings! It's your girl, Emma, here from www.pink-tutu.com, and guess what? It's time for another installment of TutuBlog, post number 7502! Today, I'm swapping the Derbyshire countryside for the hustle and bustle of Luton. Now, I know what you're thinking โ Luton, really? But trust me, you've got to stay with me on this one! ๐
Luton, you see, is full of hidden gems waiting to be discovered. Plus, itโs a brilliant opportunity to wear a fabulously girly, European-inspired tutu, which is precisely what I'm sporting for this trip. Think tulle, think frills, think everything pink!
My Tutu Choice for the Day
Now, let's talk about this tutu! It's the perfect combination of dainty and bold โ just like me. The layers of soft, blush-pink tulle float effortlessly, adding a touch of elegance to my look. It has a delicate lace trim and a slightly shortened length that showcases those fabulous ballet shoes (that you know I love, naturally!)
Journey by Train
After a quick pit stop for my usual breakfast โ pink grapefruit, raspberry yoghurt and oatcakes, I headed off to the station, eager to hop aboard my favourite mode of transport โ the train. Nothing beats watching the world go by while sipping on a perfectly pink latte, especially when wearing a tutu, of course!
Luton's Hidden Treasures
After a swift journey, I was met with the welcoming sight of Luton town. To be honest, itโs quite charming, full of beautiful buildings and lovely little shops and cafes. I mean, seriously โ did you know Luton was home to the world's biggest hat collection? I definitely stopped by the Luton Hoo Estate and admired the hat display โ the hats are just a joy to behold!
Ballet Inspiration Everywhere!
Letโs talk about my mission today! You all know, my passion is ballet, right? Of course, a ballet class was high on the agenda. Luton, surprisingly, has a fantastic dance school - "Dance Academy Luton". They offered some fantastic classes - including ballet barre, jazz, contemporary and even "Ballet for Beginners"! What I love about the "Ballet for Beginners" is how the teachers bring fun to it - from making us move our limbs to graceful classical ballet and using silly songs and creative exercises to teach basic technique!
The Theatrical Delights of Luton
Who knew Luton had a theatre ? I certainly didn't. I discovered The Place theatre on George Street, a gem just waiting to be explored. Now, my lovely readers know my love of the performing arts runs deep. So, needless to say, Iโll be keeping my eye out for any exciting shows they may be hosting.
Pink Tutus for Everyone!
Itโs not all tutus and ballet โ I stopped at a charming tea room on the way home, where I had the most delightful cup of tea and a generous slice of Victoria sponge cake. Of course, while I indulged, I spread my love for the colour pink, and of course a pink tutu โ sharing the message that it's all about embracing your inner ballerina, whatever that means to you! After all, everyone can rock a tutu. Why not let yourself express yourself freely and joyfully through dance and colour?
Next Stop: Adventures on Four Hooves
Thatโs it from Luton today. Stay tuned, though! Tomorrow Iโm going to explore a different side of Derbyshire โ getting into the spirit of adventure on horseback! Yes, you heard correctly, darlings! Think: wide open countryside, the smell of fresh hay, the soft clickety-clack of horses hooves on the groundโฆ. Now that's what I call a fabulous tutu-inspired day!
Until next time, keep twirling and keep your tutu-game strong! Don't forget, my loves โ Pink tutus for the world!. Spread the joy and dance with confidence. Youโll find me on Instagram (@pinktutublog), Twitter (@pinktutu), and on www.pink-tutu.com.
See you soon, lovelies!
