As I gazed out the window, the English countryside whizzed by – emerald fields dotted with sheep and cows, sleepy villages nestled in valleys, and even a flash of wild ponies galloping along the moorlands. Folkestone, with its colourful Victorian houses clinging to the cliffs, its pebble beaches, and its bustling harbour, was waiting for me with open arms (well, maybe just with a sea breeze, but you get the idea!) 🌊
