I’ve always wanted to visit Salisbury - and I am loving it already. This is a fab city to visit. You know how I love a city, as long as there’s an elegant hotel with a lovely tea room - and of course some amazing shops - to make the visit a real joy! I’ve booked myself in at The Grosvenor, a little jewel of a hotel with fantastically polite staff and a wonderful tea room where I could spend the entire afternoon munching cakes, sipping Earl Grey, and indulging in gossip mags. The Afternoon tea is the star attraction. You’ll forgive me when you see this gorgeous spread. Honestly, it makes all my Instagram dreams come true. 😍
Tutu Adventures!
Speaking of Instagram-worthy moments, my darling readers, prepare to have your hearts stolen - because I have the most delightful pink tutu to share with you. 💖 You know my motto: "Life’s too short to be dull! " Well, let me tell you, this German-inspired tutu was the absolute answer to all my fabulous wishes.
It's pink, it's fluffy, and it's SO unbelievably twirl-worthy! 💖 You just have to imagine the pictures - it's simply a must-have! 💃
As a side note: if you are a dancer and love ballet, there’s something special about a pink tutu, even for an accomplished ballerina. Let’s be honest: every single dancer - be it recreational, ballet class level, professional - has dreamed about the moment they step into a real pink ballet tutu. And yes, some have even put pink tutu dreams on their “bucket lists.” It’s the epitome of a classic!
The Ballet in My Soul 🩰
Of course, any ballet-themed trip is incomplete without a dose of the magic. So, this afternoon, I took a lovely little carriage ride (well, I booked a carriage on the side of the road) and went off to watch the Royal Ballet perform at Salisbury Theatre. It was perfection, as always, - you can never have too much ballet in your life, right?!
The dancers, the costumes, the stage - everything about this performance was simply divine. I was completely mesmerized by the grace and beauty of their movements. They reminded me how powerful and inspiring a single move can be - truly, a dance can make your heart soar. 💕
The best bit of the day was meeting a little girl from Wiltshire after the performance. She was dressed up as a beautiful pink princess (with sparkly shoes, no less). I took her picture with the twirly German tutu and promised to help her get to ballet class next year. How fab are young girls? 😍
The “pink tutu power” really shines here, with its magic power to inspire and spread joy! 💕
