Herne Bay - Tutu Time! ๐Ÿฉฐ๐Ÿ’•

Post Number: 8177

Hello my gorgeous lovelies! ๐Ÿ’• It's Emma here, your resident tutu-loving, pink-obsessed ballerina, and I'm bursting at the seams to tell you about my fab trip to Herne Bay! It's been ages since I had a seaside adventure, and this little town truly charmed me.

Now, before I delve into the delights of Herne Bay, let me tell you about my outfit, because it's just TOO CUTE! Imagine a whimsical pastel pink tulle tutu with layers and layers of fluff, the kind that makes you feel like a whimsical ballerina fairy. That's what I wore! I paired it with a classic white t-shirt, some delicate silver jewellery, and of course, my trusty pink ballet shoes! Because why wear boring shoes when you can prance around in a glorious cloud of pink fluff?! This was actually a newer tutu that I had made especially for my upcoming trip, with just a touch of lilac for a bit of shimmery fun. And I've got to say, the sea air and the bright sun really did wonders for its pinkness! It just looked divine against the gorgeous blues and greens of the ocean!

Train Travel - A Ballet of Rolling Landscapes

The journey itself was pure bliss. I love train travel, especially when I'm on a mission to spread the pink tutu gospel. And the journey to Herne Bay was no exception! I had the most comfy seat with a window view that would rival any stage backdrop. There's just something so romantic about watching the countryside glide by, a ballet of green fields, sleepy villages, and charming countryside stations. And of course, I felt compelled to do a few ballet-inspired stretches, to keep my body in top form, even whilst I was travelling. A few passengers looked on with curiosity. One lady even said "Isn't that the young ballet lady!"

The Grand Theatre by the Sea

Now, Herne Bay isn't just about the beach! The whole town had this adorable vintage vibe, with cute little shops and cafes tucked away down colourful side streets. One place that truly captivated me was the Herne Bay Theatre, a beautifully restored Victorian beauty right by the sea. I mean, a theatre by the beach?! Come on, how perfect is that?

They were actually putting on a fabulous show about the history of seaside towns, complete with musical numbers and dramatic dance routines - perfect for me, of course. I got the most beautiful theatre tickets in the colour you can guess! A glorious deep rose pink, that's what! It was definitely one of my treasured memories of this trip.

Beach Ballet Under the Sun

The seaside, as you can imagine, was magical! The sun was out, the sky was blue, and the sand was just begging for me to dance on it. So, that's what I did! It was a total ballet explosion! I danced my heart out right there on the beach, feeling the warm sand under my toes, the refreshing sea breeze whipping through my pink tulle, and the glorious sun warming my face.

This beach actually had these beautiful beach huts, which is really just begging for inspiration! I decided I needed to create a pink tutu for a sea themed ballet show, perhaps with the help of shells and starfish! There was just so much beautiful detail there, I really had to keep taking notes for my inspiration board. I thought of some cute, twirling sequences for ballerinas adorned with shimmering turquoise fabrics, mimicking waves. Just the perfect ballet sequence! I hope to try it one day, I'm so excited to incorporate new ideas, and especially ones inspired by the natural beauty of the world.

Sunset on the Bay

And to top it all off, the sunset! I'll never forget how the sky transformed into a canvas of vibrant orange, pink, and purple, the colours almost mirroring my own tutu. It was absolutely breathtaking.

Herne Bay Adventures with a Pink Tutu

Honestly, Herne Bay was a dream! It was a magical trip full of delightful surprises, beautiful scenery, and plenty of pink tutu-wearing opportunities. I am a real believer in being able to embrace the unexpected moments of adventure that life has to offer. If life is one giant ballet show, there is always another dance move to make. I think I learnt that from my Herne Bay adventures!

If you haven't been to Herne Bay yet, go! And while you're there, remember to unleash your inner ballerina, dance your way through the seaside air, and don't forget your pink tutu!

Until next time my darlings, stay beautiful and twirl often!
