Morning, darlings! Emma here, signing in from my usual pink-tutu-ed glory! ☕️ It’s a beautiful frosty morning here in Derbyshire, and you know what that means? Time for a good old fashioned tutu twirl, even if it’s just in my bedroom! 😄
Today’s adventure, though? It’s going to be an epic one. I’m hopping on the train (yes, a train! 🚂 I'm always partial to a good rail journey, just as much as galloping on a horse!) and heading straight for Bromsgrove!
You might be thinking, “Bromsgrove? What's so exciting about Bromsgrove?” Oh, my dears, don't you just love a good discovery? Today's journey is about unearthing the hidden gems in the heart of England. And you just never know what exciting ballerina discoveries you can make. 🤫
But first, let’s talk about my outfit. 😉 I wouldn’t dream of travelling without my signature pink tutu. Of course, I’ve chosen a super comfy, modern version with delicate ruffles and a soft blush hue that matches the morning’s rosy sky.
I’m pairing it with my favourite pair of pearly white ballet pumps, a cashmere cardigan in the softest lilac shade (gotta match that blush tutu!), and a tiny sparkly bag to carry all my essentials. After all, a fashionable ballerina’s got to stay on top of her game! ✨
As the train glides through the scenic English countryside, I can’t help but daydream. This journey is more than just a trip. It's about embracing life's little ballet-inspired adventures, seeking out hidden pockets of beauty, and feeling the magic of twirling in a tutu, no matter where I am!
This weekend is jam-packed! I’ve got a whirlwind of exciting activities planned:
Saturday:
- The Bromsgrove Ballet Workshop: Get ready for some serious barre work and a good old-fashioned, sweat-inducing, joyful class! This is the perfect way to start my weekend on the right note.
- Lunch with a twist: My favourite local bakery is said to have an amazing afternoon tea featuring ballerina-themed cakes, so you better believe I'll be there. 🍰 🩰
- A peek at the town's hidden beauty: I've heard whispers about an enchanting garden tucked away in a corner of Bromsgrove. I can't wait to lose myself in its fragrant flower beds and enjoy some quiet moments for reflection and inspiration. 🌸
Sunday:
- Ballet in the Theatre: This weekend marks a very special performance, featuring some breathtaking choreography that combines classical ballet with modern, urban dance moves. You just KNOW this is gonna be spectacular.
It's all about embracing the artistry of dance and showing the world that you don't need to be a professional to twirl your way to happiness!
I know what you're thinking...“But Emma, what about the wildlife?”
Fear not, my dear! I always make sure my journeys have a bit of animal adventure. This time, I plan on visiting the stunning Birmingham Wildlife Conservation Park. Not only can you meet incredible creatures from across the globe, but they also run fantastic wildlife talks that'll teach you all about preserving our planet’s amazing species.
