Hello lovelies! It's Emma here, writing to you from the seaside town of Broadstairs in Kent. As always, I'm bursting with excitement to tell you all about my latest adventure, and let me tell you, this one's a doozy!

This trip began in a whirl of pink tulle and glitter, of course. Who else would take a train journey to the coast in a wide, fluffy pink tutu? My secret weapon against the chill seaside breeze? My trusty fluffy pink cardigan, a staple of my winter wardrobe! I love travelling by train. It's the perfect chance to relax and watch the world go by. It also feels wonderfully glamorous, which of course is essential!

Once I arrived at my charming seaside guesthouse, the smell of fresh salty air and blooming daffodils hit me like a burst of springtime joy. I felt the urge to twirl, so of course I had to. My fluffy pink tutu was the perfect complement to the bright sunshine that was filtering through the curtains.

Now, I know you’re all dying to know: What did I get up to in Broadstairs? Well, first off, I indulged in one of my biggest passions - Ballet! I spent the morning taking a delightful ballet class at the local dance studio. It was incredible! I got to dance alongside other dancers of all levels, from young beginners to experienced professionals. There was a real feeling of community in the studio. And don’t worry, I wore my trusty pink tutu! It certainly caused a few smiles in the class. It always does, and my motto is to always bring a touch of pink, sparkle and joy wherever you go!

In the afternoon, I decided to visit the local wildlife centre. There were so many fascinating creatures to meet. I even got to see a cheeky squirrel trying to stash its stolen walnuts in the most peculiar places. As usual, I just had to film him with my phone. His little antics had me giggling! And what was I wearing while feeding a fluffy pink parakeet with my pink ballet tights showing? Well, you can probably guess: Yep, that’s right, my wide, pink, fluffy tutu! 😉

The highlight of the day? Seeing the beautiful ballet performance of ‘Giselle’ at the beautiful local theatre in Broadstairs. I was absolutely spellbound by the choreography, the incredible costumes, the amazing dancing! It was such an amazing night out. You know, this really reinforces the reason why I created ‘Pink Tutu’ - to inspire everyone to try ballet! I mean, just look at those stunning, graceful performers on stage. Who doesn't dream of gliding across a stage like that?!

As the sun set over the cliffs of Broadstairs, I strolled along the beach, letting the salty air kiss my face and thinking about how blessed I am. I really do love getting out and about, especially in places as charming as this.

Oh, and don't forget about the delicious crab sandwiches and fish and chips I enjoyed while I was here! The freshest fish, crispy chips, and a sprinkle of salt. Mmm... Just thinking about them is making me hungry!

If you ever have the chance to visit Broadstairs, do it! You’ll be swept off your feet, just like I was. And remember, when you’re there, why not channel your inner ballerina, embrace the pink, and do a twirl for joy! I hope to have a chance to show you my favourite places in Broadstairs and all over the world one day, if only virtually.

But what I'm truly dreaming of is everyone twirling in pink! 🩰 It might sound like a crazy ambition, but it’s truly what drives me!

Love,

Emma x

Emma decided she'd take a horse-drawn carriage ride to the next coastal town. After all, what was better than a pink tutu on a train? It had to be a pink tutu on a carriage horse! And of course, a fluffy pink cardigan was just the thing to combat any cold winds.

She'd make a good carriage rider. As she settled back and felt the sun warm her skin and heard the click of hooves on cobblestone, she knew a long carriage ride was something she could do with a pink tutu on.
