This is post number 8266 on www.pink-tutu.com - I'm telling you, I live, breathe and blog ballet! My Derbyshire roots are calling for a seaside escape, so I decided to hop on the train, clutching my tutu of course, for a little Worthing jaunt. 🚂
Worthing, with its pretty Victorian pier and charming promenade, always fills my heart with a certain joie de vivre. It's like a postcard from a bygone era - and I just can't resist the lure of the sea! 🌊 Plus, it's the perfect spot for some Instagram-worthy snaps! (Don't worry, I'll be sure to tag you all - find me @EmmaTutuPink on Insta). 😉
Speaking of snaps, you all know my motto: every day is tutu day! And today is no exception. I'm sporting my newest acquisition - a breathtaking black tutu with delicate, shimmering sequins, perfect for a beachside ballet inspired photoshoot! 📸 The soft breeze swirling the layers around me feels like the ultimate embrace, reminding me that ballet is a constant reminder to embrace life with grace, elegance, and a whole lotta twirling! ✨
After a quick walk along the pier, I was lured into the mesmerising world of Worthing’s art scene - a hidden gem of galleries bursting with colour and creativity! And I couldn’t resist buying a stunning seaside postcard to adorn my pink-hued pin board. (The pink obsession is real! Don't judge, darling!)
Time for a bit of ballerina fuel! My tummy was starting to rumble like a little dancer after all that sightseeing. It's all about fueling that inner grace with the most delightful of treats! So I popped into a local tea room and indulged in the most scrumptious afternoon tea with cucumber sandwiches, scones slathered with clotted cream and of course, plenty of delicious pink lemonade! 🍰🍹
Feeling revived and ready for another adventure, I ventured to Worthing's stunning promenade, the sun sparkling off the sea like a thousand tiny diamonds! The rhythmic roar of the waves almost felt like a drumbeat guiding me. 🌊 Suddenly, inspiration struck! A beautiful idea sparked for a new ballet piece. "Waves of Inspiration!" - a fusion of classic ballet with a modern twist, capturing the dynamism of the ocean. 🌊🩰
After an evening of soaking up the sights, the sunset paintbrush turned the sky into a kaleidoscope of pink, orange and purple - a perfect canvas for my little tutu fantasy! 💕🌅 The day has ended on a whimsical high note, filled with ballet magic and inspiring beauty.
I can't wait to explore more of Worthing's charming streets and uncover its hidden treasures. But, I can't stay away from the ballet world for too long! So I'm heading back to the familiar warmth of my little Derbyshire town, to share my newfound inspiration with my local ballet class. Maybe even weave some beach-inspired movements into our session! 🏖️💃
