Belfast Calling: A Purple Tutu Adventure! 🩰

Post #8268 | www.pink-tutu.com | February 21st, 2019

Hello my gorgeous girlies! It’s Emma here, writing to you live from the bustling streets of Belfast, Northern Ireland. You know I’m a sucker for a good train journey and this one didn't disappoint. I packed my trusty pink suitcase (oh how I love the color pink!), which, of course, housed my trusty, super-stylish, and utterly chic purple tutu! I've got to say, I really do think it elevates every single outfit. A purple tutu with my favourite pair of red polka dot Converse? Perfection! ✨

I must tell you about the scenery on the way here, the most glorious green rolling hills and a view of the sea that took my breath away! Then there were the friendly folk in the train station – one chap even complimented my tutu! Honestly, it’s the little things, isn’t it? πŸ’–

The first thing I did on arrival was to take a leisurely stroll around Belfast city centre. It's such a lovely city with old buildings and charming cobbled streets - all so atmospheric. Then I stumbled across a local wildlife sanctuary, oh my goodness! It was amazing - they had adorable squirrels, a majestic red deer, and a funny little hedgehog – I swear it looked right at me and gave me a wink! I'm so excited, I might have even been channeling my inner Beatrix Potter! πŸ‡

As a true devotee to all things ballet, you know I had to seek out the local ballet school. Let me tell you, those Belfast girls can really pirouette! Their flexibility was phenomenal. I even snuck in a quick barre session with them. Afterwards, I was feeling so inspired I did a spontaneous ballet dance in the middle of the city park. πŸ’ƒ A group of kids even stopped and watched with big, wide eyes, mesmerized by the magic of a twirling pink tutu!

Speaking of magic, last night I attended a performance of 'The Nutcracker' at the grand old Grand Opera House. Now, I've seen 'The Nutcracker' before, but the Belfast production was special. The choreography was phenomenal, the costumes breathtaking, and the young dancers possessed such artistry - I was practically glued to my seat!

The after-show party was pretty incredible too. The atmosphere was buzzing with the energy of the night. Everyone was sharing stories and compliments. It was so refreshing to be around such passionate people. You know, I just have this feeling, that ballet is like a magnet – it attracts some of the kindest, most vibrant people on the planet! πŸ’–

And as always, the best part was seeing other girls (and even a couple of brave boys!) rockin' their own tutus! They even asked me for tips on getting started! This is what it's all about - sharing our passion and helping others to dance their hearts out. It makes my little heart soar!

This weekend, I’m going on a tour of the breathtaking Northern Ireland coast! I've already booked a horse and cart ride for a more traditional touch. The perfect combination of nature and fairytale charm, don't you think?

Until next time, my lovely loves, stay creative and dance your worries away!

Lots of love,

Emma xx
