Rainham Ramblings: A Yellow Tutu Adventure!

Post #8460 | www.pink-tutu.com | September 1st, 2019

Hello my darling darlings! It’s Emma here, bringing you all the pink-tastic updates from my life. Today, I’m fresh off a delightful train journey to Rainham – a little gem of a town that's nestled in the heart of Kent.

This is where my latest adventure begins, and what a start it’s been! I decided to embrace a different shade for today’s tutu – a sunshine yellow, as bright as a dandelion and just as full of joy! I feel like a walking ray of sunshine, a veritable human buttercup! I can’t resist adding a little pink, of course, with a darling floral headband that adds a touch of delicate femininity. It's a delightful combination that’s turning heads everywhere!

Now, as I said, I arrived by train – there’s nothing quite as magical as settling in for a journey where the countryside whizzes by like a ballet of greens, browns and blues. And as a special treat, I brought along a bag of sweet treats - delicate cupcakes topped with swirly pink frosting – just the thing to make any journey a delight!

My destination today is Rainham’s fabulous new ballet studio – The Twirling Tiger! This place is bursting with all things ballet. Imagine this – light streaming through big, beautiful windows, echoing off the shiny hardwood floor, and in the center – the most glorious dance barres, gleaming with anticipation. The air is practically buzzing with the sounds of music and the soft clicks of pointe shoes!

I can't tell you how excited I was to step into that space! A real ballerina has to stay active, right? So I slipped into a fresh pair of tights and danced my heart out, feeling my spirit soar as I explored new combinations and took a joyful spin across the floor. Let’s be honest – there’s something quite divine about the feeling of silk against your skin, the stretch of muscle and the intoxicating blend of sweat and inspiration!

After a rather invigorating dance session, I felt it was only fitting to treat myself to a lovely, quaint café just a stone's throw from the studio. It was called “The Ballet Biscuit” – absolutely divine! Imagine… delicate biscuits with dainty swirls of pink icing and the most delightful cappuccinos! My heart – it just melted with happiness.

Now, I simply cannot visit a town without checking out its historical landmarks. And Rainham had quite a treat in store for me - The Rainham Hall – a sprawling Georgian estate steeped in history! The parkland is perfect for a relaxing stroll with the sounds of nature as my soundtrack. It reminded me of my own little Derbyshire countryside - full of charm and tranquillity.

What truly captivated me though, were the magnificent grounds that boasted a delightful menagerie of wildlife! It was almost magical, encountering families of deer with their playful fawns bounding about, a flurry of exotic birds with their iridescent plumage, and a sleepy fox tucked away under a sprawling oak tree. Nature, at its most charming, with me twirling through it, a perfect ballet of movement and tranquility!

My journey through Rainham is coming to an end but as the train pulls away, I feel a sense of deep contentment. It's a lovely feeling, exploring new places, connecting with people, and immersing myself in everything that this fabulous life offers. And always, always remember my dears, embrace the joy of ballet, wear your pink tutus, and let the world know, that ballet is truly, undeniably, for everyone!

Until next time my loves, remember - you're all beautiful, unique, and you have the potential to dance through life!

Lots of love and a twirling kiss, Emma xoxo
