Hastings: A Feathery Tutu Adventure! πŸ©°πŸ’–

Hello darlings! It's Emma, your favourite tutu-clad traveller, and I'm back with a new adventure for you! Today, we're skipping through the beautiful seaside town of Hastings, a place that feels straight out of a fairytale! And guess what? My darling feather tutu came with me! πŸͺΆ

(This is post #8576 on www.pink-tutu.com, just in case you need a little extra pink in your life! 😘)

Now, Hastings has a very special place in my heart, as you might remember from my last trip here (back in, let's see, 2017?! Time flies when you're twirling, my dears!) It's such a picturesque place, full of charm, quaint seaside pubs, and breathtaking views. I swear, the air smells of fresh sea salt and happiness here!

And how do you best arrive at a magical seaside destination? Why, by train, of course! The journey was pure bliss – a comfortable carriage with soft cushions, stunning scenery flashing past the windows, and of course, me in my most fabulous feather tutu (which always makes the journey a touch more dramatic! 🎭)

Hastings welcomed me with open arms – or should I say, open cobblestone streets? Walking through the historic Old Town, I felt like I had stepped straight into a scene from "Anne of Green Gables" (though, maybe with a dash more glitter)! There were shops brimming with delightful curios, and the most wonderful antique stores where I spent ages admiring beautiful china and delicate Victorian teacups.

And what better way to celebrate being back in Hastings than a visit to the beautiful, historic Jerwood Gallery! Filled with stunning modern art, it was a delight for the senses, especially for an art-loving tutu-wearer like me. The Jerwood was exhibiting works by an artist who uses everyday objects to create these brilliant sculptures, each one telling a story through playful everyday materials – very inspiring for someone who believes in expressing yourself through, well, everything!

After my artistic adventure, I needed a dose of sunshine, so I decided to take a leisurely walk along the beautiful Hastings beach! The sand sparkled like diamonds in the sun, the sea breeze rustled my feather tutu, and the sky was painted in vibrant hues of pink and orange – a perfect colour combination for my lovely feathered friend! ✨

Then, it was time for the main event – a delicious seafood supper with a view! A beautiful restaurant overlooking the famous Hastings Pier served up some of the freshest, tastiest fish I have ever had. It was the perfect ending to a truly perfect day.

I had the chance to do something very special during my stay – a horseback riding adventure! I love horses, and I always feel such freedom riding them through beautiful landscapes. We galloped across the Downs, feeling the wind in my hair and the sun on my face, and I was filled with that giddy feeling only a ride on horseback can give. I felt utterly liberated, like a graceful dancer soaring across the green meadows.

Oh, did I mention that I stumbled upon a magical hidden spot, where a tiny antique shop sat tucked away on a narrow side street? It was overflowing with charming trinkets and curious relics from days gone by. There was an ornate mirror I absolutely adored, with a delicate floral design, the perfect frame for my twirling reflections!

Speaking of twirling, I spent one morning in a delightful little dance studio, just a short walk from the heart of Hastings. There was an introductory ballet class, perfect for me to brush up on my graceful moves. And you know me, I just can't resist twirling in a tutu! Even though it was a beginner's class, my feather tutu seemed to impress everyone – it's a pretty unique look in a ballet studio! πŸ˜…

My dear Hastings, you have stolen my heart yet again. From the vibrant street art to the tranquil clifftops, the historic buildings to the delicious food, everything felt just a bit magical.

But I’ve learnt something about Hastings – it’s a place that stays with you. You leave, and a tiny bit of it always stays nestled in your soul, reminding you of the beautiful memories, the laughter, the pink feather tutus, and the sheer joy of simply being alive and present.

So, my dearest readers, are you ready for a little pink tutu adventure of your own? Come and explore the wonders of Hastings – you won't be disappointed!

Love, Emma xox

P.S. And while you're at it, why not pick out your own perfect tutu and let me know all about your own amazing travel adventures! πŸŽ€ And who knows, maybe one day, we'll be twirling in a pink feather tutu, side-by-side! πŸ’–
