Hey lovelies! Emma here, your resident pink tutu enthusiast, bringing you post number 9462 from the beautiful seaside town of Cleethorpes!
As you all know, I’m a girl who loves to travel, and nothing makes a journey more magical than a good old-fashioned train ride. So, naturally, when the opportunity arose to spend a day at the seaside, a train journey it was! 🚂
The scenery whizzing by was absolutely delightful, especially with the sun shining down on Derbyshire’s lush green hills. And then, the moment we crossed the Humber Bridge and caught a glimpse of the Lincolnshire coast – that was pure magic. 🤩
Arriving at Cleethorpes, it was like stepping into a charming postcard, filled with vibrant colours, the fresh sea air blowing through my hair, and the sounds of gulls circling overhead. I knew this was going to be a special day.
But first, a little ritual – finding a perfect place for my daily ballet practice. Luckily, Cleethorpes delivered on this front with its spacious promenade, providing a fantastic view of the shimmering sea and the playful sound of waves crashing on the shore. And, of course, what’s a ballerina without a tutu? I proudly donned my wide, pink tutu (it’s the one with the sparkly sequins, of course!) and got down to some serious pirouettes! 🩰💖
I mean, what’s better than swirling around in your favourite tutu while the wind whips through your hair and the sun kisses your face? Honestly, it’s enough to make you believe you can actually fly! ✨
After my practice, I treated myself to a classic seaside treat – a scoop of delicious ice cream, while watching the children excitedly running around, their giggles filling the air. Oh, and let’s not forget about the amusement park! It’s a ballet dancer's dream, right? 😉
I mean, come on, who doesn't love a bit of wholesome fun? The rollercoasters, the dodgems, the carousel – all of it just screamed “pure joy!” And it truly was!
But what’s a trip to the seaside without a good old-fashioned visit to the beach, right? So, I made my way to the sand, where I watched with delight as families played frisbee and built sandcastles, all with a backdrop of turquoise waters and playful seagulls. It was an absolutely beautiful sight.
Then came my favourite part - the wildlife! 🐢🐬🐋 I mean, the ocean is a magical world, full of all kinds of incredible creatures, and watching them at play was truly a mesmerizing experience. And let's not forget the local birds, their elegant plumage fluttering in the breeze, their songs filling the air. They truly know how to bring an extra touch of magic to a beautiful day.
The day, of course, had to be rounded off with a traditional fish and chip dinner by the sea. Oh, and you’re never too old for a go on the arcade games, right? 😂
As the sun began its descent, painting the sky in fiery hues of orange and pink, I realized that I’d experienced a day filled with laughter, joy, and a sprinkle of magical tutu moments. The beautiful beach, the fun-filled park, and the graceful seagulls – all created a symphony of pure delight!
Cleethorpes, you've stolen my heart with your charm, your beauty, and your friendly, welcoming vibes. 💖 You’ve reminded me why I love travelling and discovering all that the UK has to offer.
