Carshalton Calling: Pink Tutu Power! ??

Hey my gorgeous tutu-loving darlings! ?

It's your girl, Emma, back from another fabulously pink adventure! Today, I found myself hopping off the train at Carshalton, a little haven of charm tucked away in South London. And guess what? You know me, a tutu can't stay in the bag for too long, so I was twirling my way down Carshalton High Street in my gorgeous candyfloss-hued tulle number in no time! ?

I've been dying to explore Carshalton ever since I saw a photo of the stunning Carshalton House Gardens. Imagine – rolling lawns, graceful willows, a sparkling lake! Honestly, it's straight out of a fairytale.

Speaking of fairytales, Carshalton truly feels like one. There's something magical about this place! I was transported to a bygone era as I strolled along the cobbled streets, passing by the pretty brick buildings and quaint little shops. They all had such charm and history whispering through the air. It was like stepping into a scene from a Jane Austen novel (but with a slightly brighter, pinker vibe, of course! ?)

Speaking of colours, Carshalton seemed to be brimming with vibrant hues! There were sunflowers and cosmos blooming in joyous colours in the gardens. Every cafe seemed to have cute, colourful umbrellas out front, and the streets themselves were buzzing with a sense of optimism and colour.

One of my absolute favourite things about Carshalton? The wildlife! Imagine this – I'm wandering through the gardens, completely entranced by the swans gracefully gliding on the lake, and BAM – a little deer pops out from behind a bush and looks at me with big, brown eyes! It was utterly adorable! And of course, I couldn't resist taking a snap – a little tutu girl with a furry friend! ?

Then came the moment I'd been looking forward to all day - ballet! You know me, I just can't resist a ballet class, especially when it's surrounded by such beautiful surroundings. Carshalton had a cute little studio nestled in a peaceful part of the village, and let me tell you – it was magic.

I absolutely loved the atmosphere there – everyone was so welcoming and enthusiastic, just like our pink tutu tribe. And, oh my gosh, the barre work? Chef's kiss. ? Every move felt lighter, freer, and more graceful in that little haven.

You guys, I even managed to squeeze in a ballet performance in the evening. Imagine, a breathtaking theatre production featuring exquisite dance choreography. I don't want to spoil all the surprises, but it had a certain pink theme, just for my darling Tutu Tribe. ? And guess what? You wouldn't believe it, but I actually caught myself taking notes during the performance – yes, even when my inner ballerina was twirling uncontrollably in her seat! ?

Now, before I sign off, I have to give a shoutout to the friendly folk at the charming Carshalton pub, The Greyhound Inn. Let's just say my favourite shade of pink was served with a hearty portion of laughter. ?

And speaking of pink, guys, are you rocking a pink tutu today? I encourage you to share your pictures on social media! Remember, let's keep the pink tutu movement going! Let's spread a little bit of that magic – not just through ballet, but with everything we do!

Catch you all tomorrow, my beautiful, brave ballet dancers! ?
