Helloooo, darlings! ?? It's your girl, Emma, reporting live from the enchanting town of Farnworth! Let's just say, this little corner of Lancashire has me absolutely twirling with joy!
Today was all about embracing the whimsy, embracing the sunshine (despite the brisk autumn air!), and of course, embracing my love for all things tutus - particularly a brand-new, bespoke, and completely dreamy creation in the most glorious shade of pink!
I call it my "Farnworth Fairytale Tutu" ✨ and let me tell you, it's an absolute dream to wear. It's made from layers and layers of tulle that make it look like a fluffy pink cloud and it even has a little sparkle. And if you look closely, you can even see the faintest hint of glitter woven into the fabric!
Speaking of dreams, I had the most magical experience this morning - a visit to the Farnworth Wildlife Park. Did you know it's one of the oldest and largest in the North West? ? You have to check it out if you're ever in the area! They have everything from otters to owls to a massive penguin pool! The keepers even gave me a sneak peek at the baby giraffe. Squeals galore! ?
After a wild encounter (pun intended) with the wildlife, it was back to civilisation – or, in my case, to a fancy tea room called The Little Pink Teacup. It's exactly what you'd imagine – a cute little café with pink walls and dainty teacups filled with delicious treats. ?
Of course, no day in Farnworth is complete without a trip to the Farnworth Theatre. This is where the magic truly happens! Tonight's performance was a breathtaking production of Swan Lake. It’s one of my absolute favourite ballets. The beauty of the dancers and the elegance of the music filled the whole place with wonder. ??
And of course, I had to dance a little myself, didn't I? I spent the rest of the evening practising some of my favourite routines. You guys, it's amazing what a bit of practice and a beautiful tutu can do for your mood. ?
I swear, it's like wearing a tiny piece of pure joy! ?
Speaking of which, if you're reading this in Derbyshire, you simply have to check out the ballet studio where I learned to dance. It's called "The Pink Shoe" - very fitting, don't you think? They've been incredibly supportive of my journey and even let me design some special tutus for the school. ?

P.S. Have you noticed how many pink accents there are in Farnworth? It's like the town itself knows how much I adore the color! And I'm obsessed with the train journey to get here – all the views of the rolling countryside and the occasional sheep are just so lovely! And it allows me to take in the scenery without feeling overwhelmed!
