#TutuBlog #11200
Hello darlings! It’s your favourite pink-tutu-clad blogger, Emma, back from another magical adventure! Today I’m taking you all on a trip to the beautiful town of Stourbridge, nestled right in the heart of the West Midlands. It’s the kind of place where you feel like you’ve stepped into a storybook, especially when you’re sporting a tutu, as you know I always do!
I decided to make the journey by train today, you know I love a good train journey! The views whizzing by, the clatter of the wheels, the scent of old paper and polished leather – pure bliss! I wore my new blush-pink tutu with a tulle overlay that made me feel like a dainty little fairy. My friend Millie laughed and called me “a human cupcake”, but she knows I don't mind a bit of light-hearted banter!
My destination in Stourbridge? A ballet show at the historic Town Hall. Oh, you guys, it was exquisite! The company was called "The West Midlands Ballet", and their performance was pure magic. The costumes, the lighting, the sheer grace of the dancers – it was simply spellbinding. The piece I enjoyed the most was a contemporary piece with a story inspired by folklore – it really reminded me of all those whimsical fairy stories we read as kids.
Speaking of fairies, did you know there's a wonderful little wildlife park in Stourbridge called The Dudley Zoological Gardens? I went for a quick peek after the ballet and was delighted by all the charming little creatures there. I felt so connected to those adorable squirrels, those fluffy bunnies, and the sweet, curious birds who came right up to me, almost wanting to share their little nibbles. Honestly, they’re so delightful and full of joie de vivre! Just like a ballet performance, really – full of magic, whimsy, and pure delight!
It was a glorious day out, filled with laughter, beauty, and wonder. Even my train ride back was filled with magical moments. There was a sweet little boy wearing a little pink top and sparkly shoes – maybe it was a tutu, maybe not! Either way, his beaming face was like sunshine, warming everyone on the train. I think he felt the magic of ballet and it filled him with happiness, just like it filled me!
You see, that's my dream, isn't it? To share the magic of ballet, the joy of pink tutus, and the simple pleasures of being alive with everyone I meet. I want to see children skip through their days with confidence, grace, and a little bit of fairy dust sprinkled on their shoulders! And you know, that's exactly what Stourbridge did for me – it rekindled my belief in magic, joy, and the simple pleasure of sharing my passion for pink tutus and the beauty of ballet.
So what are you waiting for, darlings? Embrace the fairy tale within you, don a pink tutu (no matter how silly it might seem) and get out there and experience life! And maybe, just maybe, you'll find your own little piece of Stourbridge magic.
Love,
Emma xxx
P.S. I'm dying to hear your thoughts on my outfit for today! Do you love the blush-pink tutu as much as I do? Head over to www.pink-tutu.com and tell me everything in the comments!
