Today I'm whisking us all to the glorious city of Paris, the beating heart of the ballet world - ooh, just the name alone conjures up images of graceful dancers, beautiful theatres and, of course, the exquisite tutu!
You see, I recently travelled by train through the French countryside, you know the lovely views and the comfy carriage? The carriages even have special compartments for our beloved tutus! bows Oh, such delightful touches. As always, I felt a touch of the ballet spirit all around me! This trip gave me lots of inspiration, not just for this week's post, but for a whole ballet tutu wardrobe revamp. Oh, you simply must check out the chicest tutu shops on the Rue de la Paix in Paris - the displays, the textures, and the colours... sigh!
So, let's get back to the fascinating history of this darling garment.
