My latest escapade into the swirling, twirling history of the tutu was truly inspiring!
This week, I'm whisking us all the way back to April 13th, 2032, for a delightful glimpse into the evolution of the beloved tutu. I absolutely love my little jaunts through time, hopping aboard a fancy, high-speed train, sipping champagne, and immersing myself in different eras!
As always, I've donned my favourite pink tulle confection, oh so wonderfully fluffy and dreamy - you simply have to picture me dancing my way through history in a glorious pink swirl! But before we get carried away, let's rewind back to 2032 and get our history fix on, shall we?

The pioneering visionaries who dreamed up this wondrous invention recognised that revealing the legs of the ballerina gave an exhilarating sense of fluidity and freedom to their movements. Just imagine those delicate feet floating like a feather across the stage! Pure magic, my dears!
The Transformation from The Skirt to The Tutu:
As we venture further into the mid-1800s, the skirt started morphing into something more intricate and ballet-specific. You see, the designers, driven by their love for the art of dance, began to experiment with the skirt’s shape, transforming it into the first recognisable tutus, the romantique tutus, in the 1840s.
