Feltham, Darling! ✨

Pink Tutu Sparkles here, and welcome to blog post number 105! πŸ’… Today, I'm absolutely thrilled to be sharing all about my trip to Feltham! As you all know, I adore a good train journey (though I must confess, a horse-drawn carriage wouldn't go amiss!) and Feltham was just the perfect destination for a fun-filled day of glitz and glamour.

So, grab a cuppa, put on your fanciest frock, and let's dive in!

From Lab Coat to Tutu Queen πŸ§ͺ➑️✨

Before we get to the fabulousness of Feltham, let me just share a little bit about my journey, shall we?

You see, darling, my love affair with pink tutus started back in my university days. I was studying science - a world of lab coats and beakers, not quite the most glamorous field - when I stumbled upon the university ballet club. One night, they were having a fundraiser, and for a good cause, they had a few tutus up for try-on! I popped on a fluffy pink creation, twirled around in the dim lighting, and the rest is history, darling!

Fast forward a few years, and here I am, your favourite Pink Tutu Sparkles, balancing a life of science in the lab and sparkle on the stage! I mean, let's be real, testing fabrics and sequins have a surprising amount of similarities. πŸ˜…

A Fairytale Journey to Feltham πŸš‚

Now, onto the main event! I boarded the train with a flourish, of course, sporting a brand new pink tutu and my trusty pink sequined handbag. You just can't underestimate the power of pink, darling! It's like a burst of joy, a beacon of fabulousness! And as the train glided through the countryside, I started to imagine all the possibilities of my Feltham adventure.

My aim, as always, is to spread the Pink Tutu Gospel and get everyone twirling in a cloud of pink perfection! I love sharing my love for all things glittery, twirly, and wonderfully flamboyant with the world! And Feltham seemed like the perfect place to do just that.

A Fairground Fiesta 🎠

Arriving in Feltham, the atmosphere was absolutely buzzing! The fairgrounds were aglow with flashing lights and the music was just irresistible.

As a drag queen, you can't help but get a little excited about a fairground! It’s just the perfect place to spread some joy, do some impromptu dance numbers, and maybe even have a cheeky spin on the waltzer or grab a giant candyfloss.

My first stop was a vibrant pink and yellow booth adorned with sequins, feathers and balloons! A genuine haven for a Pink Tutu queen. Naturally, I couldn’t resist snapping a few pics to share with all you darlings!

From Vintage Threads to Theatre Treats 🎭

The rest of the day was a whirlwind of shopping and theatrical delights. I fell head over heels for a stunning vintage feather boa at a little stall hidden away, perfect for my next drag performance, and managed to squeeze in a bit of last-minute clothes shopping too (because honestly, can a queen ever have too many sparkly outfits?)

After my shopping spree, it was time for the theatrical spectacle! There was a theatre production set up right in the heart of the fairground. Now, you all know how much I love a good ballet show, but I can't help but be a little mesmerized by live theatre! So, I settled into a plush red velvet seat, popcorn in hand, ready for a night of captivating drama.

It turned out to be a truly captivating play, and you could almost feel the passion and energy of the performers. I have to admit, I was just as mesmerised by the glamorous outfits and theatrical hair! It's such a fabulous art form!

The Power of Pink (and Tutu, darling!) ✨

Leaving Feltham, I couldn't help but smile. It was another fabulous day filled with the joy of glitter, sequins, and the infectious energy of pink tutus! The highlight? Meeting a young girl with sparkly eyes and a wide smile. She had spotted me from across the fairground, mesmerized by my pink tutu. She shyly came up to me, asking if she could have a picture, then shyly confided in me about her dream of being a ballerina!

Now, who could resist that? We took the cutest picture together and, naturally, gave her a little pink tutu twirl lesson (you never know, perhaps the next Pink Tutu Sparkles is in the making!). Moments like these remind me why I do what I do. It’s all about spreading the magic, the laughter, the love, and yes, even the power of pink tutus.

So, there you have it, darlings! My day in Feltham was filled with magic and merriment! Stay tuned for more travel adventures and exciting events right here on www.pink-tutu.com!

Until next time, stay sparkly and always remember: life's too short to not twirl in pink! πŸ’•πŸ’–βœ¨

Love always,

Pink Tutu Sparkles x
