Whitley Bay: Where The Waves Met My Pink Tutu! 🩰💖✨

Hello darlings! It's your favourite pink tutu-clad blogger, Pink Tutu Sparkles, here! This is blog post number 191 - wow! You know, it just wouldn't be right if I didn't write one for you every day, now would it? 😉

Today, I'm whisking you all off to the beautiful coastal town of Whitley Bay! Yes, dear readers, I was there for a show last weekend and oh, my darling, it was just fabulous! Think sparkling beaches, delicious fish and chips (don't judge, I was on holiday! 😄), and a whole lotta pink tulle. That's right, my darlings, I put on my most extravagant, flamboyant, dazzlingly pink tutu for the occasion!

Now, before we delve into the details of this absolutely divine trip, I must confess: I didn't travel in style this time! No galloping horses, or sleek express trains this week. Oh no! It was all good old fashioned... wait for it… public transport! Yep! A rather long and quite cramped journey by coach it was! 😂 But hey, gotta start somewhere, right? And frankly, after all that travel, arriving at the beautiful Whitley Bay Promenade was even sweeter.

So, the venue for my show? Well, let's just say it was truly divine! A lovely, vintage-style theatre in the heart of Whitley Bay. Now, imagine, my darlings, a charming little theatre that felt like stepping into a time capsule. You know the type; bright red plush seats, a curtain the colour of a ripe plum, and those wonderfully creaky wooden floorboards you could practically hear before you walked onto them.

My outfit? whispers dramatically Oh, it was divine! I was shimmering in a pink tutu the shade of bubblegum. Picture, if you will, my gorgeous sparkly tutu that whispered a story of sweetness and light with every twirl. It was topped off, naturally, with a pink sparkly leotard, and, naturally, my most extravagant feather boa. My hair, as always, was perfectly sculpted and sprayed into a cloud of pink glory - we all know I don’t let a good opportunity to showcase a dazzling headpiece pass me by!

As I stood backstage, butterflies fluttering around my stomach (those nervous butterflies always come out before a performance, don't they!), I had this vision of myself as a young, hopeful ballet dancer back in Derbyshire. I still remember trying on my very first pink tutu when I was a teenager! My heart fluttered just thinking about the feeling of twirling and twirling in it – so free! It was magical. You know, it's all thanks to that first little tutu that my journey into drag began. I owe it everything. 💖

Oh, but where were we? Yes, back in that charming theatre! As soon as the music began, all my worries melted away! I danced my heart out for my beautiful audience, filled with smiles and joy. You know I couldn’t possibly do it without them! And what joy it brought me to entertain my lovely Whitley Bay fans!

My journey back home was as charming as ever - with a bit of travel anxiety, of course! But nothing I couldn’t handle in my glittery pink stilettos and fabulous attitude! (Those who have experienced coach journeys in this outfit, you know precisely what I’m talking about…😉) I swear, everyone knows me at this point, I must be one of their regulars, if they can see over my big pink hat!

Now, this brings me to the other big part of my trip: the stunning seaside promenade. It’s absolutely breathtaking, with the sea stretching as far as the eye can see, the waves gently crashing against the shore… And, you know I had to do it… a little dance in my pink tutu by the water! Twirls! My photoshoots, of course, took place right there on that picturesque shore.

To tell you the truth, you should really check out my new photo collection on my website (www.pink-tutu.com). They look absolutely magical, all thanks to the dazzling coastline and my trusty pink tutu! Speaking of pink, did you catch that little joke about the waves meeting my tutu? Oh dear, I do love my silly wordplay.😂

You see, I want to bring the world a little bit of pink and joy, and inspire everyone to embrace their inner diva! A pink tutu really does make you feel special and happy.

I'm going to end this blog here now - there’s more adventures for me to write about, you know, like finding those gorgeous little pink ballet shops - I may be getting an actual new tutu as we speak! 🤫 It’s true! More adventures to follow - as usual!

Don't forget to check out the fabulous new photographs I took of myself by the seaside on my website. And don’t be shy - come find me on the big ol' internet and let’s all spread some pink! You can catch me every day on the pink-tutu.com website!

See you all soon, and don’t forget your pink tutus!💖

Until next time, darlings! 😘
