Hastings - Tutu Travels Post #320

Hello, lovelies! 💖 It's Pink Tutu Sparkles here, bringing you the latest from my Tutu Travels! And oh, my darling darlings, let me tell you, this trip has been a right bobby-dazzler!

I've been flitting about like a little pink butterfly, sashaying through the charming town of Hastings, wearing my brand-new hot pink, feather-trimmed tutu! It's the perfect blend of delicate femininity and fierce confidence, and it's turning heads like a sparkly firework display!

The journey down to Hastings was an absolute dream!

I boarded the train at my little Derbyshire station, with a huge, hot pink suitcase packed full of shimmering costumes. The railway carriage felt like a stage all of its own - I couldn't resist doing a little twirl for the other passengers!

(And oh, let's talk about this suitcase! My very own Pink Tutu Sparkles-emblazoned piece of luggage, fit for a queen, filled with glittery outfits and the fanciest make-up imaginable!)

The scenery from the train was gorgeous - I mean, rolling hills and quaint countryside… you know, the sort of view that makes you think you've wandered into a ballet production set. (Who doesn't love a good old ballet set, am I right?) The ride, even with its charming British railway idiosyncrasies (which involved a delayed arrival of course) felt effortless and I practically spent the entire journey designing my Hastings performance! I couldn't wait to dazzle everyone with my sparkle and sass!

Speaking of sassy...

When I arrived in Hastings, I knew I had to visit the seafront!

You can't travel to a seaside town without taking in the breathtaking views, and of course, letting everyone see your tutu! My tutu's pinkness was brighter than the sun on that day and it perfectly complimented the beautiful blue seas and the golden sands. Honestly, I might've even been mistaken for a modern-day mermaid. A fabulous mermaid, I must add. It's one thing to love wearing pink tutus in the studio, but it's quite another to wear one at the beach and feel as fabulous as I did!

It was a true “take it to the streets" moment. And yes, you guessed it!

I had my trusty camera with me and we captured it all! I’m not exaggerating when I say that I took about a gazillion pictures in that shimmering hot pink tutu! It was impossible to resist! My feed is brimming with photos - you’ve got to check out my socials, darlings.

I mean, come on, how often do you get to look like a sparkling ballet fairy in front of a dramatic coastline, while the waves are crashing down, like the sound of a rhythmic drumbeat, encouraging a queen in a hot pink tutu to shine? I even spotted some children holding up their little pink tutus as I strolled down the promenade, it was like a tutu-filled dream! 💖

Speaking of dreamlike… Have I told you about the Hastings Theatre Royal?!

It's a truly magical place.

Honestly, the architecture - I was in awe. There's something about that grand, ornate style that just oozes with historical beauty and that theatre magic, it’s like a time machine transporting you back to the Victorian Era. You can literally feel the echoes of countless performances swirling within its walls. And speaking of those echoes - the entire theater resounded with the energy of my amazing performance!

The show was electric - full of sequins, feathers, and high kicks. My choreography is still working those legs and the fabulous stage lighting just lit up that tutu like the sun. I even received a bunch of fan letters afterward – what a feeling, and honestly it really was the peak of the journey. My Tutu Travels have brought me here – this little seaside town – a world away from the lab (you wouldn't believe my colleagues - a pink tutu? In science? Impossible! ) – but I wouldn't have it any other way.

**Life is too short to wear boring clothes.

So here's a message for all of you:

Don't be afraid to unleash your inner ballerina and twirl around in the sunshine! Wear a pink tutu. Grab a friend. Take pictures, go on an adventure and be absolutely fabulous. Don't be scared to make your dreams come true - go on a tutu-tastic journey. **

I’m out of time for this post darling!

But check back tomorrow – I have so many photos to show you! (Especially those fabulous ones from Hastings). Oh and stay tuned, I'll be telling you all about my big reveal of the latest pink tutu that’s making my heart go ‘Woo-hoo’ It's extra glamorous, and I’m pretty sure you’re going to love it.
