Littlehampton: A Tutu-tastic Trip to the Coast! 🩰💖

Hello my darling darlings! It’s your favourite pink-tutu-wearing, glitter-loving queen, Pink Tutu Sparkles, here with post number 376 on www.pink-tutu.com! Get ready to twirl because today, we're taking a trip to the beautiful seaside town of Littlehampton. ✨

It’s been a whirlwind of a week, darlings. After rocking the stage in a little town called Cheddar, I've been practically hopping on trains and squeezing in a quick pit stop at my fabulous friend Felicity’s flat in London. The trains are always a sight! My sparkly, pink sequined suitcase really turns heads, especially when I wear my matching pink tutu and knee-high boots. Sometimes I have to make sure my massive hat stays safely perched on my head - I don’t want a “Windswept in the Train Window” incident, do I? 🤣

Anyways, the journey itself is a highlight. Chatting with people, offering them sweets (you never know when a tutu needs a little sweet treat!), and even managing a few cartwheels in the carriage for those extra happy passengers! I always try to spread the love and the joy wherever I go. And, of course, it gives me plenty of time to brainstorm new looks for my upcoming gigs. 😉

This weekend was all about Littlehampton! The seaside is calling to my tutu-loving heart! And, let’s be real, there's just something utterly enchanting about putting on my favourite fluffy tutu and swirling in the salty sea breeze, don't you think? Littlehampton’s beach was absolutely packed, everyone was basking in the sun and having a fabulous time. I just love being able to connect with people and remind them to never be afraid to unleash their inner sparkleness!

But the real highlight, darlings, was a magical trip to the Littlehampton Harbour. Picture this: a stunning, bright pink sunset reflecting on the rippling water, a gentle sea breeze caressing my cheeks, and the sound of happy laughter ringing through the air. All this while I, your fabulous Pink Tutu Sparkles, am strutting my stuff in a new, extra-fluffy, multi-layered, neon-pink tutu. Absolutely divine! I got a million photos with the tourists - I love to share my joy and help everyone sparkle a little bit more.

And as if all this wasn’t enough, the Harbourside’s charming cafe became the perfect place for me to refuel on some delicious cake (pink of course) and enjoy a pot of tea with my trusty companion, Penelope, who's on a mission with me to inspire the whole world to wear a pink tutu! You know Penelope, my favourite furry sidekick. My furry best friend, a miniature longhaired dachshund! 🌭 She knows how to dress up and twirl in a tutu. Just look up "#PenelopeTutus" on my Instagram. 😉

Before leaving, I couldn’t help but slip into a charming local bookstore and browse for a bit, seeking out inspiration for new ideas to keep the Pink Tutu Sparkles flame burning bright. I discovered a vintage ballet book about 1950s costumes, and my little creative heart just skipped a beat! A gorgeous photo of a vibrant pink tutu with sparkling sequins was featured in the book, which set my creative juices flowing! The shop owner and I spent an age chatting about tutu history! What a great find, and I snagged a copy for a very reasonable price.

And speaking of vintage finds, can we talk about this fabulous little pink tutu I snagged in a vintage boutique just outside the town center! A vintage treasure! So incredibly sparkly and swirly! A classic beauty, but with a modern twist. Imagine this, a tutu with layers and layers of pink chiffon with delicate silver lace trim – oh darling! It was practically screaming, “Pink Tutu Sparkles, you need me!”. I immediately knew this little beauty was destined to be the star of my next performance.

By night, Littlehampton transformed into a delightful seaside town alive with the buzz of locals and tourists. We were treated to a charming show put on by a talented group of local artists, showcasing the beauty of local culture and creativity! I even managed to sneak onto the stage and spin my tutu a few times during their closing number - who can resist a sprinkle of pink tutu magic, after all?

The experience reminded me that art knows no boundaries! A ballet studio can be on a grand stage, it can be in a community centre or a street. Even in a small seaside town! I even did a little spontaneous tutu flash mob in the harbour - my kind of community art.

It’s safe to say this trip to Littlehampton was filled with a whole lotta sunshine, twirling fun, and endless glitter, darlings! And a very special, sweet treat of some locally crafted, pastel pink ice cream!

I leave you all today, not with a good-bye, but with a big, “Stay sparkly!” - don't forget to let your inner sparkle shine through! Until next time, darlings, keep your eyes peeled for the next adventure on www.pink-tutu.com. 💕✨💖

Always and forever,

Pink Tutu Sparkles 💖
