Darling dears, it’s your Pink Tutu Queen here, reporting live from Eltham! I’m on the cusp of a fabulously pink adventure, and you know I just had to share it all with you, my darlings!
You might be asking, “Pink Tutu Sparkles, why Eltham?” Well, honey, you know I’m all about embracing every opportunity to twirl and shine. Eltham is a little slice of English history right in the heart of Kent, bursting with stunning architecture and enough space to fit all the tutus in the world. They have a beautiful palace with sprawling gardens, and I’ve heard whispers about a stunning old library just begging for a glitterbomb. You know how much I love a good dose of history mixed with sparkles!
The journey itself was quite the adventure. I opted for the train this time – let’s face it, when a drag queen needs to change into a 10-foot-wide tulle masterpiece, a car just isn't gonna cut it, darlings. The train journey was pure bliss; I caught the eye of a young couple on their way to a date, and it wouldn’t be right of me to not share a bit of Pink Tutu magic, now would it? So, I whipped out my pinkest eyeshadow palette and did a little makeover on them – a touch of pink blush and a glitter liner goes a long way, honey! I just know they’re going to have a positively unforgettable night!
Speaking of memorable, darling dears, tonight is the big event! I’m doing my Pink Tutu Showcase at the Eltham Arms. You know, that cozy pub with the vintage charm and a roaring fire? It’s perfect, don't you think? Imagine: fairy lights, a crackling fire, and me, Pink Tutu Sparkles, twirling in my signature hot pink tulle, ready to serenade Eltham with all my favourite songs. Prepare to be transported, darlings, because I'm bringing all the glitz, glam, and pink that your heart desires!
This time around, my outfit is inspired by the magnificent palace gardens! Think a cloud of pink tulle, delicate like cherry blossoms, sprinkled with iridescent sequins like dew drops on petals. My headpiece is a work of art, inspired by the gardens' rose arches; cascading pink tulle blossoms with sparkly jewels catching the light just so. The entire look is finished with a touch of a feather boa, reminding me of the stately peacocks strutting around those ancient walls.
This adventure wouldn't be complete without some fun pink activities, and I'm ready to make Eltham sparkle even more than usual. I plan to start the day with a visit to the beautiful Eltham Palace Gardens - perfect for photo ops and even better for finding the perfect pink-tastic spot to unleash my inner ballerina!
