Hastings: A Pink Tutu Paradise! π©°π
Hello my lovelies! It's your favourite Pink Tutu Sparkles, back with you again, ready to spread the love and sparkle! π« This is post number 578 (I'm honestly a bit obsessed with counting!), and today we're travelling right down to the coast! Buckle up, because this one's all about Hastings, the perfect blend of seaside charm and historical wonder!
Train Time
I've gotta admit, there's something magical about train journeys. You get to soak in the scenery, watch the world go by, and let your mind wander, all whilst sitting comfortably with a hot cuppa! This trip was no different, especially since I'd packed my bright pink suitcase, brimming with all my favourite frocks and sparkly bits. I always try and make sure my travel wardrobe is as glamorous as possible, because, honestly, what's the point in going anywhere without turning heads, eh?
Pink Tutu Dreams in the English Countryside
As the train rolled into the charming seaside town of Hastings, I felt that familiar surge of excitement - the kind that only comes with embarking on a new adventure. My heart was buzzing with the thought of all the photo opportunities I'd get, the fab performances I could put on, and of course, the chance to inspire more people to join the Pink Tutu Revolution!
The air was crisp and the sun was shining, casting a glorious golden hue over the cobblestone streets. I couldn't help but think this little corner of England was just made for pink tutus!
A Historical Hopscotch
Now, Hastings is famous for the Battle of Hastings, a significant event in English history. I was absolutely smitten with the 1066 Battle of Hastings site. It's an incredibly evocative place, you can almost feel the energy of those battles happening around you! I even put on my best "warrior queen" attitude for a photoshoot! Picture this: a magnificent, vibrant pink tutu against a backdrop of historical grandeur - absolutely divine!
A Glimpse Into the Past
Hastings also has a lovely museum, crammed with treasures from the past. The best bit? It has the most amazing Victorian dress exhibit, filled with intricate corseted gowns and fabulous hats! Talk about inspiration! You just know that those Victorian ladies, if given the chance, would be wearing their own versions of a pink tutu! The history geek in me (I have a hidden obsession with Victorian era fashion) was positively in heaven!
* Seaside Sparkle*
Of course, a visit to Hastings wouldn't be complete without a stroll along the promenade! The salty air, the crashing waves, and the vibrant seafront were truly invigorating! I had to stop for a delicious fish and chips lunch - just what a Pink Tutu Queen needs for a sunny day by the sea! The local market was a visual feast with the most adorable trinkets and crafts. I snagged some handmade pink ribbons and a little, sparkling, pink ballerina ornament to add to my ever-growing collection!
Performance Magic
The highlight of my Hastings trip was undoubtedly my performance at the Hastings Old Town Hall. It's such a beautiful old building, with ornate balconies and charming, little nooks - perfect for my set! The crowd was so receptive! I had everyone giggling and applauding with my signature dance routine, interspersed with quick-witted jokes and flamboyant moves.
To be honest, it was pure joy, watching my sparkly pink tutu float and swirl, and seeing all those smiling faces, lost in the moment! It reminded me, yet again, why I do what I do - because it's all about spreading joy and making people smile!
Hastings and Me? It's a Love Story!
Leaving Hastings was bittersweet, but I know I'll be back, perhaps with a new dance routine inspired by those seaside views! It's the perfect escape for a pink-tutu loving queen like me! It has that captivating mix of historical grandeur and seaside charm, sprinkled with the warmth of welcoming people - and itβs certainly the perfect place to catch a glimpse of a Pink Tutu Sparkles show!
Until next time lovelies, remember, life is a stage! And you can dance, spin and twirl on it in your very own Pink Tutu! π
