Hello, darling divas and dapper dudes! Pink Tutu Sparkles here, and guess what? This queen is on the move! Today, we're taking a delightful little trip down to the beautiful coastal town of Ramsgate, Kent. Now, I know what you're thinking – Pink Tutu Sparkles on a beach? How does a tutu queen even walk on sand without a disastrous entanglement?! Well, fret not, my dears! My trusty travelling trunk is brimming with tulle perfection, and I've got a little trick or two up my sleeve to ensure my tutu remains magnificent, even on the shores of the British seaside.
Speaking of sleeves, did you know my latest couture masterpiece is a tutu made of the most stunning, sparkly pink sequins? I had it made specially for this trip. You see, darling, I believe a little glamour goes a long way, even when we're surrounded by seaside charm. It’s a matter of embracing that "extra" factor in every aspect of life, don’t you agree?
Now, let’s talk travel! This morning, I was feeling adventurous so I ditched the car in favour of the trusty train. You know, sometimes, a good old-fashioned railway journey is the perfect escape from the chaos of everyday life. It allows me to indulge in my favourite pastime – admiring the beautiful British countryside scenery! You can’t tell me it doesn’t feel utterly magical watching the landscape flit by through the train window as the sun kisses your face. Oh, and let’s not forget about the chance to strike up a conversation with my fellow passengers! Just yesterday, I met a delightful young gentleman on the train who had a penchant for ballet. It’s fascinating how a simple “Hello” can lead to an unforgettable conversation about a shared love for the art of movement!
When the train finally pulled into Ramsgate Station, the air was buzzing with the excitement of a seaside town just beginning to awaken. The smell of freshly baked pastries wafted through the station, and the cries of seagulls filled the air. It was truly enchanting, and for a moment, I was transported back to my childhood, when the simple act of breathing in the crisp seaside air brought boundless joy!
Speaking of joy, did you know that I’ll be gracing Ramsgate with my presence for an evening of fabulousness tonight? I’ll be performing my signature routine at a local hotel called The Albion. It’s an exquisite little establishment with a history steeped in grandeur – you just know there will be fabulous dancing and dazzling costumes tonight. And naturally, I wouldn’t dare step onto a stage without a new, specially designed costume! I won’t spoil the surprise just yet, but let’s just say it involves feathers, glitter, and, of course, a TutuQueen masterpiece that will leave you speechless.
Now, you might be wondering how Pink Tutu Sparkles manages to fund all these exciting travels, you see, darling, it’s all about spreading the joy of the Pink Tutu revolution. This queen has to perform her craft – the art of fabulous, sequin-clad performances – to keep this beautiful pink bubble afloat! My dazzling performances range from glittering pub shows to grand fairgrounds – it's all part of my commitment to bringing the dazzling world of the Pink Tutu to the masses.
I know it sounds crazy – a girl from Derbyshire conquering the world, one pink tutu at a time! It all started back in my university days when I joined the ballet club – I had been toying with the idea of pursuing a career in drag, but I needed a spark. It happened in that ballet club, when I tried on a charity tutu – it felt like magic. And just like that, Pink Tutu Sparkles was born. By day, Alex – my boring science degree self - diligently worked in the laboratory, testing fabrics and conducting experiments. But by night, Alex transforms into a sequin-studded symphony of pink, ready to take the world by storm. It's like stepping into another world!
I love everything about this exciting journey, and believe me, darling, it’s a journey filled with laughter, music, sequins and surprises, but above all, it’s a celebration of self-expression and, of course, the joy of the Pink Tutu.

Who knows, perhaps you'll even catch a glimpse of the shimmering turquoise tutu I’ve specially designed for the occasion! It’s definitely an outfit fit for a mermaid – although I wouldn’t recommend taking it for a dip in the actual sea… we wouldn't want to cause a fashion emergency!
