Cleethorpes Calling: A Pink Tutu Pilgrimage! ๐Ÿฉฐ๐Ÿ’–โœจ

Hello my gorgeous lovelies! It's your girl Pink Tutu Sparkles here, back for another fabulous blog post. Today we're travelling to the sunny seaside town of Cleethorpes! โ˜€๏ธ๐ŸŒŠ

This is post number 690 (hehe, a very special number indeed!) and I'm so excited to share this adventure with you all. It's been a whirlwind of tulle and sequins recently, so settle in, grab a cuppa, and let's dive in! โ˜•๏ธ

First things first, let me tell you how excited I was about this gig! You see, Cleethorpes has always held a special place in my heart, right up there with Brighton and Blackpool, because of its vibrant seaside vibes and โ€“ drumroll please! โ€“ its incredible Victorian Pier. ๐Ÿ’–๐Ÿคฉ

Now, I know what you're thinking: a pink tutu-clad drag queen on a Victorian Pier? That's bound to be a sight to behold, isn't it? ๐Ÿ˜‰ Believe me, the locals couldn't get enough of my fabulousness! And guess what? My first performance was at a children's charity fundraiser.

Speaking of fabulousness, let's talk about the outfit, darling! I chose a hot pink, layered tutu, the kind with all those little, frilly ruffles that give you that extra โ€œwowโ€ factor. I paired it with a shimmering pink bodysuit that sparkled under the stage lights, and, of course, a matching pink wig with some strategically placed diamante butterflies. I truly believe every day is a chance to be a shimmering butterfly! โœจ๐Ÿฆ‹

Oh, the music! Iโ€™d chosen a few classics with a touch of camp: ABBA, Beyoncรฉ, and, of course, a good dose of Cher. Because really, who doesnโ€™t love Cher?! My final act was a mash-up of Dolly Parton and Whitney Houston's โ€œI Will Always Love You" which brought the entire pier to its feet! The kids were mesmerized, the adults were chuckling along, and I just knew I had brought the sunshine and sparkles! โ˜€๏ธโœจ

You know, this is exactly what I live for! Bringing joy, colour, and laughter wherever I go โ€“ it truly is a privilege! My aim in life, as you all know, is to inspire everyone to wear pink tutus, because every day is a celebration! And honestly, Cleethorpes felt like a big, warm, pink tutu-embracing hug! ๐Ÿ’•

I travelled there in style, of course. I canโ€™t resist a train journey whenever I can. It allows me time to admire the rolling hills of Derbyshire, catch up on my beauty sleep, and even write some of my blog posts. There's just something so magical about watching the world whizz by. But it gets even better. Remember the โ€œGet on my Level!โ€ post from last week where I had a rather grand encounter with some friendly locals who helped me get my luggage on the train? Well, the kindness didnโ€™t stop there! It turned out that some of these lovely ladies had family connections to the Cleethorpes area. Not only did they give me all the inside scoop on local cafes, but they also invited me to tea with their families!

And the local tea is absolutely divine! (Youโ€™ll just have to take my word for it, Iโ€™m not about to reveal my secret supplier.) โ˜•๏ธ I must confess, I didnโ€™t get the chance to catch a ballet show in Cleethorpes, but I did visit the wonderful Pier Theatre. It was the perfect setting for some lighthearted fun, a spot of delicious afternoon tea and a good old fashioned sing-along. ๐Ÿ’–๐ŸŽค

Honestly, Cleethorpes completely stole my heart! It reminded me that a little bit of sparkle can go a long way, and that sometimes, the most memorable journeys start with a simple desire to spread joy. Itโ€™s the little things in life, darling, like dancing on a Victorian pier and sharing tea with newfound friends, that truly make this life a wonderful adventure. ๐Ÿ’•โœจ

So, if you ever find yourself looking for a little dose of magic and mayhem, head on over to Cleethorpes, don your pink tutu, and let the good times roll! Itโ€™s an experience you wonโ€™t forget. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Until next time, stay fabulous! ๐Ÿ’–

Love,

Pink Tutu Sparkles.

  2. My favourite colour is, naturally, pink, and you can't forget the tutu. ๐Ÿ’–๐Ÿฉฐ
  3. Ballet and drag go hand in hand for me โ€“ I simply love the beauty and the joy they both bring. ๐Ÿ’–๐Ÿฉฐ๐Ÿ‘
  4. I dream of travelling the world by horse and carriage someday, because let's be honest, horses are the most majestic creatures on earth! ๐Ÿด ๐ŸŽ
  5. I fund my drag adventures through performances. Catch me if you can at a local fair, a charity event, or maybe even a fancy dress party. ๐Ÿคฉ

Oh, and I canโ€™t end this post without a little confession! Remember that "Get on my Level!" post where I described meeting those wonderful women at the train station who helped me with my bags? Well, those lovely ladies gave me something special. Itโ€™s not often I receive gifts. After I performed my show on the Pier and gave them all a huge Pink Tutu Sparkles hug, they gifted meโ€ฆ you guessed it, a custom pink tutu! Of course, itโ€™s in their signature Cleethorpes seaside colour palette and features little details to commemorate our trip together โ€“ including little Victorian Pier dolls and even a mini beach umbrella! ๐Ÿฅฐ This really makes me think that I should design a Pink Tutu Sparkles Cleethorpes special edition collection! ๐Ÿ’–

Stay fabulous, loves!
