Wigston Magna: Where the Sparkles Took Me! 👑✨💖

Hello darlings, it’s your Tutu Queen, Pink Tutu Sparkles here, bringing you post number 726 from my glamorous journey! ✨ Today we’re waltzing into Wigston Magna, a delightful little town that stole my heart with its charm and warm welcome! 💖

This journey started as a whirlwind of pink sequins and tutu tulle, beginning in Derbyshire. (Where else would a Tutu Queen start her day, right?) I’d been booked to perform at the town fair, so naturally, I boarded the morning train, all aglow in a fuchsia pink tutu, feather boa, and my signature cherry red lipstick. 💄💋 The conductor, bless his soul, just chuckled and shook his head as I practically beamed with excitement, taking up more than my fair share of space in the carriage!

I was absolutely buzzing with excitement! I’d heard tales of Wigston Magna's warm hearts and delicious bake sales - so a tutu-clad trip to this quaint corner of England was absolutely irresistible!

As the train pulled into the station, the first thing I noticed was the warm, welcoming aroma of freshly baked scones (maybe even strawberry and clotted cream, I swear I caught a whiff)! 🍓🤤 Wigston Magna station was tiny, but so perfectly quaint, with those beautiful terracotta brick walls. A local volunteer group was selling poppies to support our armed forces, and it brought tears to my eyes to see such kindness and community spirit. 🥺 A truly lovely start to a day!

Now, don’t get me wrong, Wigston Magna is not exactly known for its glitz and glam - at least, not yet! 😉 But I have a feeling that, with a sprinkle of Pink Tutu Sparkles magic, that might just change! 🤫

You see, darlings, my mission is to bring joy to the world, one sparkly pink tutu at a time! And what better place to spread the joy than at a traditional British town fair?

When I arrived at the fair, the atmosphere was just electric! People were enjoying the stalls, smelling the delicious BBQs, and the children's faces were all lit up with excitement as they explored the rides. ✨🤩

Before my show, I wandered around, greeting the friendly faces and admiring the lovely displays of homemade crafts. I found myself drawn to a stall with the most beautiful hand-stitched teddy bears! I was smitten and bought a little pink bear in a sparkly dress to add to my ever-growing tutu collection. 💖

After my meet and greet, it was time to take to the stage, or in this case, a little wooden platform decked out in a banner I made with my very own sparkly pink flamingo print! (Can’t help but have some extra flair for my performances!) 🦩💖

The crowd was a mix of children and adults, all eager to watch the magic unfold! My set included all my signature songs – a high energy pop medley mixed with some traditional British music. They loved it! They danced, they laughed, they even shouted “Tutu Queen!” at one point. 😭 It warmed my heart. I think we created a real spark in that moment. ✨

Of course, no performance of mine is complete without a grand finale. And that's when the magic REALLY happens... 🤫

I told the crowd about my Tutu for All mission and pulled out my giant pink tutu! It’s a 15 foot-wide monster tutu, draped in tulle, beads, and even some sequined pigeons (for a dash of Wigston flair). 🐦✨

I invited all the children on stage, and we had a fabulous group tutu dance to the iconic song “Let’s Go Fly a Kite”! 🤣💖 It was the most wonderful thing to see their smiles, and their faces lit up as they twirled and pranced with me in a giant, fluffy pink dream! It’s always my aim to inspire, and this was certainly the case with my adorable tutu squad.

Now, let's get back to the reason I travelled to this wonderful town! The Fair! They’d planned some amazing games – “Tutu Twirl" and “Toss the Sequins” (yes, it was as much fun as it sounds). I helped out judging and I even had a go at tossing those glittery discs. Turns out my aim isn’t as great as I thought! 😂

It was amazing seeing the locals and families enjoying themselves, creating memories together. You know, there was something truly special about seeing people, young and old, enjoying a good old fashioned fun day out. It really took me back to my childhood. 🥺

And guess what? It wasn't just about the fun and games! The whole fair was raising money for the local library! Can you imagine how much money was raised for those fabulously helpful community centres? Honestly, Wigston Magna’s residents are so caring and charitable!

Before I left Wigston Magna, I was delighted to find an amazing charity shop that had a special little stand of tutus on sale, all for a fantastic cause. 💖 It seems even my tutu-tastic style can bring people together and make a difference in the world! Who knew?! 🤣 I couldn't resist snapping up a few pastel pink beauties, (one for the queen, you understand!)

As I took my train ride back home, watching the beautiful English countryside whiz by, I felt such a deep sense of happiness and contentment. 💖✨ It was a day full of warmth, laughter, and so much tutu magic, which is precisely why it’s a day I will never forget!

So, remember my darlings: if you find yourself in the heart of Wigston Magna, make sure to give the charming little town a visit. You never know, you might even bump into me wearing a big pink tutu, twirling to my own joyful tune! 💃✨ And who knows, you might even find your inner tutu queen shining bright! 🤫
