Hello my darlings! Pink Tutu Sparkles here, and as the sun is shining brightly and I've just had a delicious cuppa (Earl Grey with a touch of honey, my favourite), I feel inspired! I've been planning this trip for ages, and it's finally happening! This week I'm taking my fabulousness all the way to Shenley Brook End! That's right, my lovelies, Pink Tutu Sparkles is coming to your neck of the woods! Get your pink tutus at the ready - we're about to sprinkle some fairy dust all over the place!
Now, some of you may be thinking, "Shenley Brook End? Where's that?". Don't worry, my darlings! It's a little village near Milton Keynes in Buckinghamshire. But trust me, a little place like this can still be absolutely magical! Think rolling green fields, quaint cottages, and charming locals. And who knows, maybe even a hidden talent show or two! 😉
I'm always excited to see new places and meet new faces, but honestly, the real highlight of any trip is the journey itself. You know I'm a fan of trains, my loves, they're such a romantic and stylish way to travel! I even got my pink tulle adorned suitcase out for this trip, with matching luggage tags! It just wouldn't be the Pink Tutu Sparkles way to be travelling in a boring old rucksack.
You might be wondering about this "Shenley Brook End" trip, and how it all came about, my darlings. Well, you see, I was contacted by a group of wonderful individuals who, like myself, adore pink tutus. It's all about community, you know, creating a little slice of happy! They've organised a weekend-long "Tutu Fair" - can you believe it, a whole fair dedicated to tutus? They told me all about the adorable shops they have planned, and of course, a grand tutu fashion show, showcasing all sorts of creations! I might even give some tips, and who knows, I might even steal a few of their best ideas for my own collections. After all, competition keeps you on your toes!
The main highlight, though? Well, I was told it was none other than the annual "Shenley Brook End Balletathon." Yes, my loves! An entire day of nothing but ballet, from sunrise to sunset. They are planning an absolutely marvelous performance in a stunning field near the river. Imagine the sheer magnificence! You know I can't resist a ballet! It’s where my love affair with pink tutus began, you know. Remember how I told you how I fell for the first time I wore a pink tutu at university? Well, ballet is where it all happened, during a fundraising performance for the club. From then on I knew, it's a life for tutus. And that, my darlings, is how this fabulous pink tutu wearing queen of sparkles came to be!
And because Pink Tutu Sparkles loves a little surprise, I've decided to turn this blog post into a competition, darling! I’ll be leaving clues for you all to find my hidden pink tulle ribbon, somewhere in Shenley Brook End. Whoever finds it wins a dazzling, one-on-one fashion makeover with moi, complete with the most magnificent pink tutu you can imagine. Are you ready for this?
