It feels good to be back on the road, y'all! I've missed the thrill of travelling, the camaraderie of fellow performers, and, of course, the joy of seeing all your gorgeous faces in the audience. I swear, this whole drag journey has turned me into a seasoned traveller! But it wasn't always like this. Remember those days when my world revolved around lab coats and beakers? Oh, the irony! 🧪
Anyway, let's fast-forward to the present. The train ride was, as always, a fabulous adventure. I mean, it’s hard not to be thrilled when you're seated amongst fellow humans in a beautifully decorated carriage, with windows showcasing gorgeous scenery – plus the anticipation of a fantastic performance later that night! I even had a charming chat with a gentleman who confessed to being a secret fan of ballet. We discussed everything from Swan Lake to the best local fish and chip shops! 🤫
Chelmsford itself has such a charming vibe. As soon as we arrived, the air seemed to sparkle with excitement. Everywhere you looked there were people dressed to the nines, and there was a buzz of anticipation hanging heavy in the air – perfect for a Tutu Queen like myself! 💫
I absolutely had to go on a whirlwind shopping spree. I found the most divine, feather-trimmed bolero at a little vintage shop called "The Button Box". And for a moment, let’s all agree, nothing screams Pink Tutu Sparkles like a feathered bolero! You’ll all see it in my show tonight – paired with, of course, a pink tutu. My motto? Every occasion needs a tutu, darlings! 💁♀️💖
Speaking of my show, I'm performing at the iconic Chelmsford Arts Centre tonight! This place has a fantastic reputation, and I'm so excited to bring my own brand of glitter and glamour to its stage. I can already picture myself sparkling under the spotlight, surrounded by your cheers and laughter. ✨
