Oh, darling, where do I even begin? Today has been such a delightful whirl of tutu-tastic adventures, and Walsall has stolen a little piece of my heart, honestly! 💕
My journey started at 6:30 am sharp, and I must say, even the pre-dawn hours couldn't dampen my enthusiasm. A train journey from my beloved Derbyshire is always a lovely escape from the humdrum of everyday life, especially with a glass of bubbly and my new polka-dot dress from M&S, of course. You know me, never a moment wasted on fashion, darling! 🥂
The carriage was a charming scene: a young chap in a paisley scarf lost in his book, a family of giggling toddlers who adored my tutu (honestly, children have such great taste!), and a very handsome gent who was trying desperately to hide his smile at the sight of me. 🤫
By 8am I was in Walsall, a lovely little town that immediately welcomed me with open arms and charming cobbled streets. My mission today, my lovelies? A delightful visit to the Walsall Museum! 🏛️
Not your average, dusty, old museum, my dears! This one boasts an impressive collection of art and local history. It was simply charming, I must say! Imagine my delight when I discovered a special exhibition featuring costumes from local theatre productions. Now, who knew there was so much tulle in Walsall?! 😍 Talk about tutu-tastic!
And I have to admit, after a day filled with culture and wonder, my tastebuds craved a treat! So, I waltzed my way to the delightful café at the back of the museum for a delectable afternoon tea. Everything was absolutely delightful! But my favourite part, hands down? The adorable, miniature pink meringue that sat atop my scone - an absolute work of art! 💖
Now, you're probably thinking, Pink Tutu Sparkles, why are you blogging about a museum trip in your pink tutu? And, my darling, you're absolutely right to ask! It’s about more than just fashion, my loves! It’s about bringing a little sparkle to everyday life, about making the mundane magical. You know, there's just something about a well-dressed horse that brings me joy! It’s like seeing the world through rose-tinted spectacles, or at least through my rose-coloured, sequined tutu. 💅
