Before I reveal all the pinktastic details, a little bit about my journey. You know me, always going for a touch of glamour, so this time I opted for a first-class train ticket. Picture this: a fluffy pink cushion, a glass of bubbly, and the scent of Chanel N°5 filling the air – divine! Honestly, even the train journey itself felt like a fabulous catwalk show!
The pink tutu is my compass in life, guiding me towards all things bright, beautiful and sparkly! And my love for it all started... well, in a lab of all places! That’s right, before I donned my sequined crown and pirouetted onto the stage, I was a mere scientist, tucked away in a laboratory in Derbyshire. But you know what? Even science needs a splash of colour, a bit of twirling!
A charity ballet club event, a shimmering pink tutu, and... bam! Pink Tutu Sparkles was born! And let me tell you, the love for pink tutus doesn't stop at the stage! My life is a swirling kaleidoscope of pink tulle and feathered boas!

Well, getting a horse was easier said than done. Apparently, not many places hire out white horses specifically for drag queens with a fondness for pink tutus! But don’t you worry, darlings! I always have a backup plan! So instead, I hired a stylish pink vintage car!
Think a convertible, decked out in pink ribbons and roses, driven by a chauffeur in a dashing pink bow tie! The cheers from the seaside promenade, the wind in my feather boa... It was a truly unforgettable entrance!
Of course, my stay wouldn't be complete without some shopping therapy! Broadstairs is bursting with quirky boutiques, antique shops and delightful local markets! I discovered a vintage tutu shop nestled in a hidden cobbled alleyway, where I found a gloriously flamboyant pink and blue number. Perfect for a seaside promenade stroll! It was almost as though it was designed just for me, and it definitely stole the show!
No trip to Broadstairs would be complete without a ballet show, so naturally, I headed straight to the local theatre. They had a charming production of Swan Lake.
