Hello darlings! Your favourite pink tutu-wearing, glitter-loving drag queen is back, ready to take Manchester by storm!
It's your girl, Pink Tutu Sparkles, and I'm SO excited to be bringing my sparkle to this amazing city. This is a whirlwind tour de force, because after performing at the Royal Albert Hall last week, I've packed my bags and hopped on a train (choo-choo!) to explore the vibrant North West!
Let's be honest, Manchester is such a cool place. And with all that amazing theatre, ballet and street performance scene? I'm practically quivering with anticipation, I know we're going to have an absolute ball!
Packing for Glamour:
First things first: packing! My biggest challenge? Fitting all those gorgeous pink tutus into my suitcase! You wouldn't believe the number of sparkly pink skirts, feather boas, and fluffy petticoats I have to choose from - it's truly a tutu lover's dream. Don't worry, I packed my sparkly high heels too. The bigger the sparkle, the better, right?
Train Travel Adventures:
Honestly, I can't think of anything more magical than train travel. There's something so nostalgic, so elegant, about journeys like this. And the scenery? divine! You wouldn't believe the spectacular countryside views I was lucky enough to enjoy on my way to Manchester. It truly felt like stepping straight into a ballet!
And the best bit? I met the most lovely gentleman on the train, dressed in the most fabulous pink suit. I swear, he almost made me blush! (Not a pink blush, mind you!) He even complimented my pink sparkly bag! I knew I'd be surrounded by glitter and glamour even on the train.
Finding Pink Everywhere:
Once I arrived in Manchester, I felt an instant connection! The atmosphere, the people, the vibes, it's just so exciting! Of course, the very first thing I did was take a walk down to the Trafford Centre. That pink tutu had to come out, you see!
Did I mention the fabulous selection of pink tutus and glitter I found at the shops? I almost fainted with glee! I spent a good few hours trying everything on, until I found the perfect tutu for my Manchester show.
And trust me, you wouldn't believe the colour palette. Everything from a bubblegum pink tulle to a striking fuchsia! It was literally heaven. I managed to snag the most incredible feathered tutu - the kind of creation that truly belongs on a stage!
Manchester's Secret Ballet Spot:
Of course, what’s a trip to Manchester without exploring the world of dance? I've got a secret spot, darling, it's a tiny little ballet studio tucked away in a quiet corner of the city centre. You wouldn’t find it unless you were really looking, and I had to do some research, as you all know, I am never afraid to truly delve into any city. And let me tell you, the classes are divine!
Just a little bit of pink tutu power to inject some extra oomph into my performances, wouldn't you say?
Stage Ready for My Performance
Today's my performance! My show at the Albert Hall was fantastic, and I can't wait to bring some serious pink-tutu magic to the city! I've got my makeup done, my costumes picked, and a pink feather boa so big it deserves its own spotlight. You're gonna love it!

Look, if there’s one thing Pink Tutu Sparkles loves, it’s bringing some joy and sparkle to the world! My performances aren't just about tutus, it's about spreading the message of positivity, of being yourself and showing the world how wonderful you truly are. My aim is to spread pink glitter all around!
